PAULINE CATHERINE HOLLIE LEWIS was born on November 10, 1927, the daughter of the late Reginald and Mable Hollie Clark, On March 14, 2018, God heard her voice and granted her request as she quietly departed this earthly life at the rightful young age of 90, she now resides at her long awaited new residence called HEAVEN. May God grant her soul eternal rest! Pauline received her education in Baltimore, Maryland She attended and graduated from St. Catherine's Academy: formerly known as St. Pius Roman Catholic School. Upon completion of her education, she worked numerous jobs ranging from the beloved cook for the priest at St. Ann's Rectory St. Joseph Manor in Health care, and her ultimate love,a homemaker. In the early 50's, Pauline moved from the west side of Baltimore to the east side of Baltimore where she joined and became a faithful, dedicated, and hard working member of St. Ann Roman Catholic Church until she departed for her new residence in the sky beyond, HEAVEN. Pauline was a member of St. Ann Roman Catholic Church. For over 60 years and served on numerous committees such as Eucharistic Ministry, legion of Mary Society, Hospitality, Sick & shut ins. Sodality, Willing Workers, etc. She also met the love of her life, the late Allen P. Lewis and was joined in Holy matrimony on February and remained true soul mates until God called him to his new residence in the sky beyond, HEAVEN. Though Pauline and Allen were not blessed with children of their own, they shared in the adoption and raising of many family members. Such as the late Beverly McKinley, the late Troy Green. Tina Green Lewis Horton, and Michele Fitz. She also assisted in the raising her late widowed sister, Bernice Thornton's nine children Their home was always a place of refuge for those who needed love and stability. Pauline was well known and loved throughout her west and east communities and was and was a active member in various activities. ,Some of the highlights of her life were cooking, decorating, traveling, and home improvements which were always completed for her by her soul mate. One of her main highlights was planning of trips to Atlantic City with her sister Bernice. Pauline always lived her life as a loving, caring, and helpful person. She was quick with a joke and an impeccable smile. She leaves to embrace and cherish her loving memory: daughter, Tina Lewis Horton (Bernard); granddaughter, Michele Fitz (Nakia); five great-grandchildren, Michael, Michai, Miachele Carter, Alivia and Aleeya Fitz; seven nieces, Brenda Royster, Joyce, Carolyn, and Sharon Thornton, Evangeline Randall, Andrea Walker and Rhonda Bullock Smith; four great-nieces, Darlene Buchanan, Karen Royster, Vernita Franklin, and Stephanie Thornton; three nephews, Michael and Kevin Thornton, and Nathaniel Bullock; two great-nephews, Donald Speaks, Jr. and Dana Thornton; devoted cousin, Deborah Reddy; her beloved church members, and a host of other relatives. and friends.
