Paulette Daughtry

Paulette Penn, daughter of Theresa Penn and the late Roland Penn was born on January 6, 1964. She departed this life on January 13, 2009.Paulette received her education in the Baltimore City Public School System. She graduated from Mergenthaler High School with certificate in Business Administration. Mastering her craft, she became a fast and efficient data entry operator.It was at Merganthaler in 1981 in Biology class that she met her high school sweetheart Kenneth Lionel Daughtry. When Kenneth walked in the room, he knew Paulette was the prettiest girl in the class. They became friends and the rest is history.Paulette and Kenny were married on November 14, 1999 and from this union came two beautiful children, Kendra Lieshema and Kenneth Lionel Daughtry Jr.Paulette was employed at the Holiday Spa and worked part-time at UPS. She later moved on to work at Alexander and Alexander Insurance Firm.Paulette was quite the competitor and believed in fitness. She really loved to work out and was proud to be a member of the Rare Breed Weight Lifting Club. Paulette won numerous awards in her weight class. Paulette took care of her inner self with Jesus and her outer self with fitness.Paulette was a positive out going person; she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 1995. Instead of letting the news get her down she decided to fight to be strong and to continue to live a normal life. She enjoyed taking care of her family, jogging, dancing and listening to musicPaulette joined Victorious Life Ministries in 1995. Her love for the Lord grew tremendously. She enjoyed attending church services and participating in praise and worship. Despite her disabilities, she also became a Sunday School Teacher. Paulette was a true prayer warrior and servant for the Lord. Paulette made numerous friends wherever she went and she will be sincerely missed by everyone who knew her. She was also a true friend, devoted mother and wife.Paulette leaves to mourn her husband; Kenneth Daughtry Sr., two children Kendra and Kenneth Jr., mother Theresa Penn. Father-in-law Cornelious Daughtry Sr., seven sisters, Connie, Lola, Jackline, Judy, Wanda, Denise and Lolita; two brothers Leon and Timmy, two brothers who preceded her in death, Roland Jr. and Ronald. Three sisters-in-law, Mynita, Kitty and Nee-Nee, four brothers-in-law, Preston, Darron, Cornelius Jr. and Wayne; 14 nieces, Tameka, Marquitta, Caprice, Jakera, Renee, Rhonda, Kim, Glenda, Lynn, Nicole, Nia, Octavia, Shantell, Claudette and Sherrie; nine nephews, Antonio, Donnell,Marquise S., Marquise D. Mario, Antwain, Ronald, Damon, Dwayne and DeLeon Jr., two dedicated friends, Yolanda and Ms Reiny and a host of other relatives and friends.
