Patricia D. Smith

PATRICIA DIANE SMITH was born August 17, 1958 to the late Junius Wallace Smith Jr. and the late Rosa Lee Smith. Patricia was dealing with a lot of health issues and she fought hard until she took her last breath. On July 15, 2023 at 2:48 p.m. God got tired of her suffering and called her home. Patricia was employed by the Baltimore City Public School System until she retired. She also participated in the big sister program at Thurgood Marshall Middle School. Patricia loved to be surrounded by family and friends. At any given time she had a house full of people and she loved every moment of it. Friday night Homesdale was the place to be. It was either a card game, kids sliding down the steps, loud music, karaoke, food, or just everyone laughing and having a good time. She loved to eat. A good crab cake and a carrot cake to end the meal. Going to Walmart was her absolute favorite place to go, but nothing made her happier than spending time with her grandkids. Patricia was preceded in death by her father Junius Wallace Smith Jr., mother Rosa Lee Smith, brothers Junius Kevin Smith Sr., Tyrone Smith, Todd Tynes and Ronald Franklin, sister Ida Renea Smith, and nephew Derrick Kent Franklin. Patricia leaves to mourn: her BFF, Jerry L. Johnson; four kids, Shanelle Williams (Kenneth), Rodney Weldon Jr. (Taneka), Jennifer Johnson (Darius) and Jamyra Johnson; eleven grandchildren, Ken- neth Williams III, Keith Williams Sr. (Celia), McKenzie Weldon, Nicholas Weldon, Keyon Williams, Comora Bruce, Coreise Bruce Jr., Kierra Williams, Rodney R. Weldon, Dylan Weldon and Denim Wilkes; two great-grandchildren, Sierra Williams and Keith Wil- liams Jr.; sister, Janice Smith; brother, Malcolm Tynes; two nieces, Sheena Smith and Brittney Norman; six nephews, Darryl Moore (Ebony), Donnell Smith (Niecey), Kevin Bell, Devin Bell, Daris Bell and D’Andre Bell; two great-nieces, Kyra Franklin and Brielle Scott; five great-nephews, Kabir lshmail Jr., Ziyon Harris, Darryl Moore Jr., Darren Moore and Donzaye Smith; two special friends, Wanda Valentine and Vanessa Cochran; and a host of very close family and friends who held a special place in her heart.
