Nikia Allen

Nikia Toree Allen's daughter of the late Donna Lynn Richardson and Tony Allen Sr. was born in Baltimore, Maryland on May 14th, 1975. She transitioned peacefully on May 9, 2024surrounded by her family. Born and raised in east Baltimore, Nikia spent her early years in Perkins and Broadway Homes. Growing up as the only girl with all brothers she was the beautiful chocolate princess of the bunch but was just as tough as her brothers, whom she adored. She gained her education through Baltimore city public schools. Nikia held various jobs over the years in addition to her entrepreneurial skills...she was always a provider. Often called Aunt Nikia, Tishy Boo, Nicky Nic or Sis, with her heart of gold, big bright smile, and infectious laugh she was quick to engage in conversation with whomever/wherever she went and welcome in anyone in need making so many longtime friendships that turned into family. One of her favorite things to do was to cook for her family and friends leading up to the last chapter of her life where she was a founder of Good Trouble Church, doing outreach work where she saw fit "in the kitchen" and giving back to her community. Although Nikia didn't have any children physically, helping to raise everyone's children she was a mother to many with her nurturing spirit showing up, having a listening ear, showing you how to conduct yourself as a young woman man and so much more. She was a protector you could always count on Nikia in a time of need. To know Nikia was to love her leaving a lasting impact on us all. Nikia was preceded in death by her mother Donna Richardson, Father Tony Allen Sr. Brother Terrell & Tony Allen Jr., Omar Spriggs and Danshawn and Deandre Royster. She leaves to cherish her memory longtime companion Brian Chapman (Stink) siblings Kendrea and Kendell Savoy, bonus siblings bonus siblings Lynaia, Maurica, Denise, Maurice and Cierra Royster; Grandfather Douglas Richardson; Aunts Dion, Sally (Mae), Evalina, Tracy and Kathy, Uncle Eric, Douglas, Kirk and Lawrence, a host of nieces and nephew; Godson Elizah (Eli); a host of special cousin /extended family and friends.
