Nicole Tynetta Berry-Williford

Nicole Tynetta Berry-Williford, affectionately known as “Nikki,” was born on May 9, 1974, in Richmond, Virginia, to the late John and Laverne Berry. She peacefully departed this life on June 23, 2025. Nikki was educated in the Richmond Public School System and attended John F. Kennedy High School. At an early age, she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and was baptized, beginning a lifelong journey rooted in faith and compassion. A true caregiver at heart, Nikki dedicated her professional life to serving others in the home health care field. She was not only an entrepreneur but also a trusted and gifted event planner—well known for her creativity, attention to detail, and ability to make every occasion special. Whether caring for clients or creating unforgettable moments, Nikki approached everything she did with love and excellence. Nikki was the heart of her family. She married her soulmate, Norris on November 20, 2010 and from that union one son was born. A devoted wife, loving mother, protective sister, doting aunt, and loyal friend, she brought people together and made every gathering warm and joyful. Her impeccable style, radiant smile, and infectious laughter made her the kind of person who left a lasting impression wherever she went. She found joy in traveling, shopping, and trying her luck at the casino. Nikki was known for her beautiful spirit, warm presence, and a playful sense of humor that lifted the hearts of those around her. She was the person people turned to for advice, for celebration, and for comfort. Nikki was preceded in death by her sister, Jacqueline Berry; and her brother, John Berry Jr. She leaves to cherish her memory: her loving husband, Norris Williford Sr.; her devoted son, Norris Williford Jr.; her brother, Garrett Berry (Christy); nephew, Nicholas Berry (April); nieces, Johnisha, Laquashia (William), Shawnisha, Marshae, Ronisha, Quanisha, and Janya; fourteen great-nieces and nephews; goddaughter, Tiyanna; godsons, Gerard Jr., J’toine, and Tionne; and a host of cousins and friends including devoted cousins Joyce, Archella, Ashley, and Danielle; and cherished friends Tartisha, Jarena, Lawanda, Faye, Daakea, and Kirsten. Though Nikki’s physical presence has departed, her spirit, love, and laughter will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
