Naseem Neal

NASEEM TARIQ NEAL was the beloved son of Lewanda Smith and Michael J. Neal. Naseem was born on the 11th day of October in the year 2000. Naseem left this earthly life for his heavenly home on Wednesday, November 5, 2025. Na-Na, as he was affectionately known by family and numerous friends, will sincerely be missed by everyone who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness and cherished memories. During his early years Naseem was a typical little boy, who was his Dad's shadow. Naseem loved to play video games and was a sports enthused little guy. In 3rd grade he began to play football and basketball for AAU.While playing for AAU, he had the pleasure of taking his craft on the road to Georgia, D.C., New Jersey, Delaware, Virginia, New York and many other states. The highlight of his Forest Park High basketball career was a game played gainst Archbishop Curley High School. Forest Park won the game but, unfortunately, his Mom, LeWanda (his biggest fan), was unable to attend due to work obligations. So, of course, Naseem had to cheer her up by showing up at her job with his medals and placing them around her neck. Naseem graduated from Forest Park High School in 2020. He left Maryland and went to Andrews College in Cuthbert, Georgia for 2 years.He returned home and started his music career. Naseem's career was just getting started performing at the Miami Beach Party with Music artists such as Future, Tech and others. He would also go and spit a few bars with his dad in the studio. Naseem was preceded in death by his Sister: Samarra Hawkins; grandfathers: William T. Smith, Joseph Michael Neal and Tony D.Burnette; grandmothers: Cornelia Phair, Mary Holley; uncle: Thomos Smith: aunt: Paulette Smith and a host of aunts, uncles etc. Nassem leaves to cherish his memory, his mother Lewanda Smith and father Micheal J. Neal (Tonia); brothers Rashard, Robert, Raheem, Kalia, Kamar, stephan, Marcus and Robert (Horse): sisters Kamiyah and Kenned; a host of nieces and nephews; his grandmothers Bettie Jean Smith and sister Samiyyan Burnette: three uncles Donte Faison, Timothy Smith and Terrence Smith; his Islamic Borthers and Sisters; and a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends and a host of family and friends.
