Nancy Lee Bradley

NANCY LEE SAMPSON BRADLEY, daughter of late Estelle Jackson Harris and Lucius Sampson, was born on June 27, 1939 in Winnsboro, South Carolina. She departed his life on Monday, April 14, 2014 after a lengthy illness. Nancy received her formal education in the Winnsboro South Carolina school system. She later received her LPN nursing license from Coppin State College while working at St. Agnes Hospital. She also worked for Elizabeth Cooney Nursing Agency as a private duty nurse for numerous years, before retiring and moving to Martinsburg, West Virginia where she made it her home until her passing. Nancy met and married Roosevelt White, and out of this union ten kids were born. She later met and married Clifton Bradley, and out of that union two kids were born. Nancy was a very devoted mother and grandmother, always willing to help her kids and anyone else who needed help. Always cracking jokes to make you laugh was her way of making life a little more enjoyable. She will truly be missed by her family and anyone who knew her. Nancy leaves to mourn: her six sons, Stanley (Robinette) Sampson, Winnsboro, South Carolina, Andre and James White of Martinsburg, West Virginia, Roosevelt (Denise) White of Baltimore, Maryland, Clifton Bradley and Michael White of Martinsburg, West Virginia; three daughters, Lisa (Vick) White, Robbin (Carter) Smith, Francis Sampson of Baltimore, Maryland; six brothers, Sylvester (Hazel) Harris of Baltimore, Maryland, Bobby (Sara) Harris, Butch Harris, Willie (Carolyn) Harris, Lindsey Harris, Horace Harris of Winnsboro, South Carolina; twenty-eight grandkids, thirty-two great-grandkids, and one great-great-granddaughter named Shawnay Brown; and a host of other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her mother, Estelle Harris and father, Lucius Sampson; two sons, Larry Sampson and Mark White; daughter, Maurisca Ann Sampson Jeter; granddaughter, Kamia Hair; two sisters, Mary Ann Worsley and Almina Harris and three brothers, Leon Jackson, Lucius Sampson and Herman Sampson. Nancy had a very loving and devoted family who was there to help with her daily needs and in her time of need; they are Cierra White, Chuckie Donaldson, Amanda Brinkman, Jackie Sheppard, Shanika Hair, and Rudel Chonnery, Tiffany White, Shay Campbell, Denise White, and a very devoted great-niece, Rochelle William. Now that you are in the arms of the Lord, you don't have to worry anymore. Rest in peace, Mommy. We love you.
