Milton Roseborough Sr

MILTON ROSEBOROUGH, SR. son of the late Sammy Lee Roseborough and Bessy Mae Roseborough was born on July 2, 1942 in Chester, South Carolina. He passed away on May 17, 2020 after suffering several illnesses for many years. Milton received his educated in Baltimore Public Schools System. Throughout the years he held several jobs. Before meeting his wife Dorothy Norris. They were joined in marriage April 7, 1962. From that union came four children, Milton Roseborough Jr., Martin Lee Roseborough, Teresa Holman Michael and Anthony Roseborough. To provide for his family he went to work at Bethlehem Steel Shipbuilding Corporation. Upon leaving there he started his own business, Rosey Janitorial Service. Milton was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in July 7, 1973, serving Jehovah for more than 30 years. Milton (Rosey) as he was popularly known. Had a real bubbly personality. Always making jokes. Especially with his daughter-in-law Shawn. Calling her "Fidget". His grandchildren described him as being hilarious, having wisdom and strong-willed. He also loved gardening, grilling, fishing and loved to dance. His favorite foods were strawberry shortcake, strawberry cheesecake, steak and clams. But Rosey also had a serious side to him. When it came to work and life. He showed his kids what could be accomplish with hard work. And taught them about life from wisdom he acquired throughout the years. He is preceded in death by his four siblings, Donald Roseborough, Lindsey Roseborough, Dorothy Brooks and Raymond Roseborough. Rosey leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Dorothy Roseborough; three sons, Milton Roseborough Jr., Martin Lee Roseborough and Michael Anthony Roseborough; one daughter, Teresa Holman; two sisters, Sandra Braxton and Cathy Pettaway; one brother, Stanley Roseborough; two daughters-in-law, Shawn Roseborough and Antoinetta Roseborough; one son-in-law, Kevin Holman; grandchildren, Shabria Baylor, Shannon Baylor, Sharonda Baylor, Melissa Roseborough, Mario Roseborough and Martin Roseborough Jr.; great-grands, long time friend, Tyrone Skinner; many other nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
