Micayla Yvonne Dean-Sinnie

Micayla Yvonne Dean-Sinnie was born on April 2, 2009 at St. Mary's Hospital. She was an intelligent,articulate,spunky,determined,independent and compassionate four year old. Her dad's nickname for her was Bookie and her momma would call her Tinkabutt. She loved to have conversation with people and sometimes you forget her young age. Her smile would light up her face and when she walked into a room you immediatly saw that beautiful smile. She always made her presence known! Micayla enjoyed writing with her colored markers and pens. She loved to paint and color in her coloring books or just on a plaine piece of paper. She would paint a picture specifically for someone in mind,so if you tried to claim the picture that wasn't for you,she would tell you it was not for you but she would be happy to make you one. Another passion of Cay's was books. She loved books and made sure you read them to her. Her book collection is enough to start a small library. If we went into a store that sold books she would want you to buy one for her. After you read the book to her,later on,maybe a week or so,she would pull it out and sit on the floor or couch and remember what the story was about and read it to you or to herself. Micayla was especially fond of books that had a lot of color in the pictures or as she would say,illstrations. Cay Cay was extremely specific with the shade of a color. Pink was not just pink. She would say it was hot pink or magenta or fuchsia and so on. She always wanted to know your favorite color as hers was any shade of green. She was enrolled in St. Mary's Hospital Hospital daycare,or as she called it school,since 2010. The teachers,kids and parents loved Micayla and everyone knew who she was. She loved helping her classmates. We think at times she thought she was the teacher. The words she lived by were,"I can do it." When Micayla received an IPad,she loved and cared for it. She knew how to operate all the functions and features. It was cute to see our lefty using her left hand to maneuver the keyboard or sliding function. She always strived to get 5 stars,which are the best,in all the games that she played. She appreciated sports and Bookie enjoyed kicking her soccer ball around,tumbling or doing splits or just watching a football game on TV. The highlight of her day on Wednesdays was when the gymnastic bus came to the daycare to train. She enjoyed music and her favorite instrument is drums. She always said,when she grew up she was going to be a ballerina,soccer player,gymnast,basketball player and a docyor with a band. Cay also loved animals and her favorite are elephants. We know Micayla is in heaven with her Father God. That is what she called her heavenly Father. Micayla loved the Lord. On Sundays she would say"Let's get ready to go to Jesus house." Tinkabut would not eat or go to bed without saying a prayer. Her favorite prayer was "Our father Who Art in Heaven" and her favorite saying was "God ot Your Back"! Micayla is survived by her mother,Charisha Dean-Hubbard;her father,James Sinnie;her grandmothers;Carolyn Dean and Yvonne Sinnie;her great grandmother;Julia Boyd;uncles Jamelle Dean,Christopher Dean,and Emanuel Mason;aunt Dorothy Booker;great uncles,Fred Boyd,Robert Dungee,Jr. and Donny Hofler;godparents;Lysa Glunt;Mitch Ware and Frank Robinson and many classmates and friends. Micayla ,you will never be forgotten. You will live on in our hearts and minds forever and it is an honor and a privilege to know and love you. You always said,"I love my family" and we love you to infinity and beyond!
