Mashell Harvard

On Saturday June 14, 2003 when God took a walk through His garden, He was looking for a unique flower. He could not find one, so He sent an angel to earth to look for one. As the angel flew over Baltimore he saw one at 2938 Clifton Park Terrace - that unique flower was Mashell (Fluff) Harvard.Mashell Harvard was born on August 7, 1959 to Constance and Epherain Harvard. She took her flight from earth to glory on Saturday, June 14, 2003.She was raised in Fairfield, Maryland and received her education in the Baltimore City Public School System. Mashell graduated from Southern High School in 1977 and began working at the United States Postal Services Main Office on Fayette Street until her untimely death. She also worked for the Mayor’s Office of Manpower Resources with the Baltimore City Summer Corp.On December 4, 1977, Mashell was baptized at the Mt. Hebron Baptist Church and later reconfirmed her faith. She joined First Baptist Church of Fairfield on Sunday, April 7, 2002 and was baptized on Friday, May 10, 2002.Mashell was better known to her family and friends as Fluff. She was a carefree and fun loving person. He carefree and fun loving spirit touched the lives of everyone who entered into her inner circle. She truly loved her family and was a loving daughter, wonderful mother, a devoted grandmother and good friend.Although Mashell loved to read, she also loved baseball where she played for the Post Office Women’s League. The league was known as the Female Smokers and received numerous awards. Delaware Park and Atlantic City were places Mashell liked to visit.Mashell leaves to cherish her memory and anticipate a glorious reunion: two daugthers, Nichole and Veronica Brown; one grandson David Jr.; her parents, Constance and Epherain Harvard; four brothers, Gary, Maurice, Marlo and Miles; four sisters, Constance Viola, Annette and Candice; one grandmother, Melissa Harvard; one uncle, Rev. Kenneth Harvard; two aunts, Deborah Harvard and Gayle Deloache; three nieces, Talisa, Nekeyia and Barbara; four nephews, Maurice Jr., Gary Jr., Marcellos and Douglas; a stepfather, Joseph Young and a host of other relatives and friends.
