Maschell C. Malone

MASCHELL MALONE, our dear “Muffie”, was the seventh child born to Coley Malone and the late Elizabeth Malone on August 10, 1960. On Monday, the 17th day of February 2014, Muffie departed her earthly vessel. Like her siblings, Muffie was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland and educated in the Baltimore City public school system. After graduating from high school, Muffie attended Coppin State College and later went on to work for the State of Maryland in the Procurement Department and later transferred to the Division of Rehab Services as a buyer’s clerk. Prior to her death, Muffie was taking online courses at University of Phoenix seeking a degree in Business Management and was due to graduate this June. Several years ago, Muffie decided to move to Port St. Lucie, Florida with her long-term friend and companion Purnell (Pernie). It was like she never left Baltimore! Muffie still kept in touch with everybody. She was the Zuckerberg of Baltimore. You could “like” her @www.callmuff if you were looking for someone and needtheirphonenbri got it.com. Muffie had a very bubbly personality; she loved people and made friends “everywhere” she went. She called everybody her “buddy”. Muffie would hold a conversation with anyone, if that person could talk for an hour, Muffie could talk for two. We would be remised not to mention her “partner in crime”, Debbie. The Laverne and Shirley of the family, the shenanigans they were a part of are still laughable to this day! Muffie also enjoyed hanging “under the bridge”, she loved to sit at the computer to play solitaire and listen to her music that she loved dearly. Preceding Muffie in death are her sisters Sharon and Pamela Malone and her only brother Craig Malone. Muffie will be sorely missed, especially by her best friend and companion, “Pernie”; her daughter, Tara; her two sons, Paris and Damon; her five grandchildren whom she cherished, Damon Jr., Daquan, Khalil, Lady Paris and Tanay. She will truly be missed by: her dad, Coley Malone Jr.; her sisters, Sandra Walton, Denise Braodway, Shelia Sayles and Deborah Malone. She also leaves to mourn her loss a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
