MARVIN “LASANE” LEWIS, departed this life and ascended to new life on March 11, 2017. a very unexspected and untimely dealth. Born on January 16, 1965 in Florence, South Carolinia. He was the fourth child of five. To the late Ozzie Lewis Sr. and the late Daisy Mae Lewis. Marvin received his education in the Baltimore City Public School. He continues his education Job Corp and became n acquired carpenter. He began working with a longtime family friend name Arthur Lee. Later exspanding his gifted hands with other contractors. Our brother Marvin also worked at the Jewish Community Center for few years. During that time he met and courted Onnetta. The two shared a beautiful daughter together Shakita a.k.a. “Ice Cube”. Some years later through his courtship with a long time childhood friend Yolanda, they had a wonderful son together name Korey. Shortly thereafter Marvin moved to East Baltimore and spent a lot of time around our aunt Annie-Mae, who always made sure he was okey, through years of trials and tribulations. Marvin's life has been a fruitful journey. No matter what, he always kept in touch with his mother and siblings. Marvin would always ask us if we were okay. Never mind, what he been through. He loved everyone and that's what we'll miss the most. No matter what life brings our way. We are and always will be family! We will always love Marvin “Lasane” Lewis. Marvin kind spirit will live on through is his beautiful daughter Shakita Lewis, two granchildren Howard and Haveya. One son Korey Lewis, two brothers Ozzie Lewis Jr. and Creighton Ellis. Two sisters Lisa Jackson and Myra Brown. Five nephews Michael, Allen, Terrel, William and Richard. Five nieces which are Sherrell, Shantel, Teyanna, Kelis and Angelina. One brother-in-law Keith Jackson and one sister-in-law Gwendolyn Lewis. Six aunts Annie-Mae, Carnetha, Rosa-Anne, Cora-Lee, Renetta and Elease. Marvin will be truly missed by so many. Marvin had a way of capturing your heart. He also enjoyed listening to his music especially Jodeci, he loved too eat, watch tv and found jpy being with his family. We will love you forever Marvin and we will continue to celebrate your life because you was loved by so many.
