    Marjorie Yvonne Walker

    February 6, 1952 - May 25, 2013

MARJORIE YVONNE WALKER, daughter of the late Eddie and Roberta Johnson, was born on February 6, 1952 in Fernadina Beach, Florida. God called her home home on May 25, 2013 after a lengthy illness. As a young child one of her most memorable memories was when she marched with Martin Luther King Jr. during the civil rights movement. She received her education at Key West High School in Key West, Florida. Marjorie attended St. Paul’s A.M.E. Church where she was baptized in St. Augustine, Florida. Marjorie and Thomas were married on March 4, 1972 in Key West, Florida. Out of this union three children were born, Tre’vor, Travis and Tienne Walker. After moving to Baltimore, Maryland in 1973, she was employed at London Fogg and she worked numerous jobs and also did private duty nursing. Marjorie made numerous friends wherever she went and will be sincerely missed by everyone who knew her. Marjorie loved to cook and grill. She loved music and spending time with her family and her furry friends, Sleepy and Mr. Wrinkles and the late Bazzy. Cherishing her memory are: her husband, Thomas; three children, Tre’vor, Travis and Tienne Walker; one brother, Robert Johnson of Florida; two sisters, Rumell Fuller of New Orleans, Louisiana and Celeste Williams of Norfolk, Virginia; seven grandchildren, Alayah, Karrington, Jermaine, Travis, Tristan, Taylor and Nyla; one sister-in-law, Ruth Walker; one brother-in-law, Larry Walker; one special friend, Morris Nichols; two devoted friends, Barbara Humphrey and Geraldine Brown; along with a host of loving nieces and friends....
