Marjorie Marie Smith

Marjorie Marie Smith was born May 8, 1962, in Richmond, Virginia, to Marie Robinson and Clifford Everhardt. She was preceded in death by her loving parents and two of her siblings, Kent Everhardt and Perry Everhardt. She received her formal education from the Richmond Public School System and graduated from Thomas Jefferson in June 1979. She furthered her education and attended John Tyler Community College, studying mechanical engineering. Marjorie accepted Christ as her Savior and was baptized at an early age. She was united with Fifth Street Baptist Church. Her deep-rooted faith in Jesus and her unwavering commitment to spreading love and kindness left a lasting impact on everyone who crossed her path. Up until the very end, Marjorie maintained her kindness, grace, compassion, and appreciation for beauty. She expressed gratitude for her life and the many blessings she experienced along the way. She was employed by one of the world’s largest contract pharmaceutical companies, working at Fareva in the production division for the last 43 years. Marjorie worked hard in her position and enjoyed going to work. She loved to travel when time permitted and see the sights. That was one of her favorite things. Her journey on this earth was one marked by love, compassion, and unwavering faith in God. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of her family, friends, and the many others whose lives were touched by her. We ask that you remember her not for the way her life ended, but for the way it was lived—and for the profound impact it had on all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Marjorie's legacy of love, laughter, and generosity will live on through the countless lives she touched. Though she is no longer with us in body, her spirit will continue to shine brightly—guiding and inspiring us every day. On April 18, 2026, God called her home. She leaves to cherish memories her three loving brothers, Reginald Smith, Ronald Peguese, Rodney Peguese, Linwood Everhardt, Fredrick Everhardt, Clifford Everhardt, Jr.; sisters, Theresa Everhardt and Doretha Everhardt; nieces and nephews, Keonnia and Rodney Peguese Jr., and Devonna and Jaala Woodson; a host of other relatives and dear friends. As you continue to worship Jesus up there, dear Marjorie, your light will forever shine brightly in our hearts.
