Marijuana Zebrina Webb

Our beloved, Marijuana Zebrina Webb-Rosado, was born June 17, 1976 in Richmond, Virginia to her proud parents, Brenda C. Webb and James Williams. She was blessed with eternal peace on January 11, 2011 at the age of 34 years old. A bright and lovable child, Marijuana blossomed into a beautiful, intelligent and loving young lady. Well loved by all, she was affectionately known as “Jay”. She had an extremely kind heart and peaceful spirit that was inspirational to everyone she met. Marijuana was best known for her magical, awesome smile that was captivating to see. Her ever present gentle, caring demeanor held everyone’s attention. She had a listening ear and a sagacious solution to any problem. In 1994, Marijuana graduated as a dedicated “Kougar” from John F. Kennedy High School and received the school’s highest honor, awarded only to her, the Principal’s Citation. She was a most prestigious sports’ statistician for the school’s varsity and junior varsity athletic teams. She was also awarded a statisticians scholarship for her speed, accuracy and dedicated attendance at every event. She was a member of the High School Choir and the All City Choir; Teen Health Council and Team Leader with the Police Athletic League. Her passion for reading began at a young age and she read voraciously every subject that fed her inquisitive and astute mind. Born to shop, she was a regal retail diva! Marijuana’s fashion sense knew no parallel. Jay was always classy and fashionably current. Her keen eye for color hues, textures and nuances drew compliments and admiration everywhere she went, and her couture advice was sought professionally and personally. She maintained a strong and steadfast faith in God and gave her life to Him in 2007. She continued to stand on His word through all of her medical trials. Words can hardly capture the beautiful spirit of this daughter, sister, woman, partner, mother and friend. A loving and selfless disposition made her a magnificent mother. She was forever devoted to her family, especially her precious children. She, along with their doting father, showered them with every advantage based on love, education and Christian guidance. Family time and togetherness were always top-priority and was reflected in their thoughtfulness of each other. She leaves to cherish her memory, a loving and devoted husband, Rene’ Rosado; four daughters, Taylor, Jordan, Chanel and Shaniqwa; son, Ricardo Rosado; grandson, Major Rosado; caring parents, Brenda C. Webb and James Williams; two sisters, Thomeka Washington (Keith), LeToya Webb; brother, James Webb; five half-sisters and five half-brothers; in-laws, Maria Jackson and Heriberto Rosado; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, one sister and two brothers-in-laws, along with her grandmother Blanche C. Webb; a host of other relatives and friends.
