Marian A. Wilson

Marian Aline Wilson, the beloved daughter of the late Florrie Elouise Brown and Alando Hawkins, entered life on July 13, 1951 in Baltimore, Maryland. Marian received her education in the Baltimore City Public School System. She completed her studies at Forest Park High School and successfully graduated in 1969. Marian met and married Chester Wilson. Marian was gainfully employed with The Hedwin Corporation. Because of her exceptional skills and professionalism, she achieved various awards and promotions. After retiring from The Convergence Corporation, Marian worked in the family business Brown’s Confectionary with her family and children. In 2006, Sister Marian Wilson joined the Full Gospel Fellowship Church of Deliverance, where she surrendered her life and accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Savior. Surrendering her life to His service, she was active as a Greeter/Usher and served on the Hospitality Committee, both of which she loved. She was a true, devoted and faithful member. Sister Marian would often bring people directly off the street along with her to Sunday morning services or to the Tuesday evening Bible Studies. She truly loved the Lord and loved people. Sister Marian leaves a history of being able to relate to family and friends with prayer and respite care. Because of this, she was adopted with love by many as mother, sister, auntie and friend. On Friday, October 18, 2019 after a brief illness and surrounded by her loving family, Sister Marian was peacefully called home to rest with the Lord. She leaves to mourn her loving memory, two sons, Aubrey Wilson and Carlton Baskerville, Jr.; one granddaughter, Jailynn Montague; one goddaughter, Coco; four sisters, Mazarine, Diana, Angela and Doreen; three brother in-laws, Randolph Chappell, Jr., George Moore, Jr. and Lawrence Byrd; three uncles, Louis Fortune, George Fortune and Thomas Sumter; four nieces and four nephews, Dorothea (Stephen), Sonja (Donnie), Valaicia, Monique, James, Dominique (Eleanor), Reggie (Keania) and Trey (Monique); eleven great nephews; six great nieces; and a host of cousins and other relatives; and two special friends Jewel and Greg. Her son, George Baskerville preceded her in death
