Maria A. Jones

Maria Antoinette Jones, daughter of the late William F. Burch and Delores Reeves, was born on January 8, 1957 in Baltimore, MD. She received her heavenly wings at the age of 58 on October 1, 2015 at 3:30 a.m. She received her education in the Baltimore City Public School System. She didn't stop there, after finishing high school, she continued on to further her education by attending and completing different trade schools. She knew how to survive no matter the fight. She conceived Annette Burns-Williams, her first born in 1972. She was formally married to Charlie Maultsby, from that union, Charlie W. Maultsby, Christopher K. Maultsby, and lastly baby girl, Jennifer Maultsby were born. Maria had a journey-filled life. She was raised by her aunt, Inez and Preston Phillips. She met her husband, Kenzie Jones in 1995 and was joined in holy matrimony on June 7, 1998. Maria made friends wherever she went - no matter the time of day or situation at hand. She loved doing missionary work. She took people in off the streets when they had no place to go. She feed people when they had no food. She loved praising GOD. Maria was a disciple of His Kingdom Deliverance Ministries under Bishop Designate Ronald Rochester. Maria fought a great battle against cancer and finished strong. Her purpose here in this life has been completed. Job well done! She leaves to cherish her memory: two daughters, Annette Burris-Williams and Jennifer Maultsby; two sons, Charlie and Christopher Maultsby; one son-in-law, Ronald Williams; Kevin Ball who she also called her son-in-law; on God-given daughter; Monique Burton; one stepbrother, Brandon Beard; one God-given sister, Laleta (Andreas) McCrea; one God-given brother, Joseph (Deidra) Phillips; two goddaughters, Latresa Scaff and Towana Bowers; granddaughters, Z'Nah, Lillie, Melony-Ameriah, Aliyah, Nathya, Emani, and Harlee; grandsons, Ronald, Ryan, Tyrese, Kareen, Jaylin, and Malik Jr.; two favorite cousins, George (Sharon) and Dale; cousin, Parrish and Tat, who knew her as "Auntie"; one great-aunt, Lillian Evans; and a host of other family and friends who will truly miss her.
