Marcus Allen Bradley,Sr.

His journey on earth has ended, but his eternal life has just begun. Our beloved Marcus Allen Bradley, Sr., 29, of Richmond, Virginia, was born January 27, 1984, the son of Chicquita Bradley and Alan Lewis. He entered into his eternal life to be with God on August 16, 2013. He received his formal education in the Richmond Public School System attending Armstrong High School. He furthered his education by attending the Richmond Technical Center studying to be an electrician. Marcus accepted Christ at an early age. Marcus demonstrated the true love of God to his family, friends and fellowman and did not mind extending a helping hand to anyone. Marcus was always the life of the party. He lived as a man of his word, living life on his own terms. He believed in responsibility, accountability, and above all perseverance. Marcus was formerly employed by the Richmond City Department of Utilities as a Corrosion Tech for eight years. He believed in fairness to all, which led to him being 1 of 8 individuals filing a discrimination lawsuit against the City of Richmond. That was a great victory to him. A devoted father, son, grandson, brother, friend and leader that loved the Lord and shared his giving spirit with others. Marcus gave credit to God for all the blessings in his life. He believed that when you give your best, it always returns to you. Our Marcus was a true reflection of God’s love! Nothing more made him happier than spending time with his children and friends, where he shared a special bond with each one of them. He also enjoyed shopping. He was known “to bust your gut” with laughter and by “the look”...and he had it! Beside his charming smile, he displayed a cool style of fashion; he always had the matching hat and shoes, anytime he stepped out the door. He will be missed dearly, but not forgotten. Marcus’s legacy lives on through his three loving sons,Marquan D. Lane,Marsean L. Lane and Marcus A. Bradley,Jr.,loving parents,Chicquita Bradley(Gregory) and Alan Lewis,Jr.;two caring sisters,Alize and Ajunae Lewis; three brothers,Artravius Bradley,Jamel Evans and Jawaun Bradley; maternal grandparents, Senora Bradley and Linwood Hodges; paternal grandparents, Marion and Alan Lewis ,Sr.,a father figure to Cardell Coe,Keymyah Marks and Kemonte` Marks; a host of other relatives, devoted friends,Jumarilyn Wilkins, Tyrone Harris, Lawrence Smith and many more.
