Louise Williams

LOUISE MYERS WILLIAMS was born on September 29, 1939, in Norway, South Carolina, to the late Jacob “Jake” Myers and Lucile Myers. Louise received her education at North High School in North, South Carolina, where she excelled both academically and athletically. She was a standout basketball player and proudly served as a cheerleader for the football team. Affectionately known as “Bony,” Louise was admired for her athletic talent, vibrant spirit, and warm personality, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who knew her. In 1958, the Myers family relocated to Avon Park, Florida. While expecting with her first child, Timothy Myers, Louise met the love of her life, the late Elder Timothy Williams Sr. From this blessed union, they built a loving family and were blessed with six children. Louise dedicated her life to serving others. She worked for Residence Inn by Marriott as a breakfast hostess for ten years, where her warm smile, kind spirit, and welcoming personality made every guest feel at home. She also spent more than twenty years working as a private-duty nurse, compassionately caring for the elderly and providing comfort to those in need. Louise was a devoted woman of faith. She faithfully served as a member of the Church of God by Faith for thirty years. In 1992, she united with Rock of Revelation Church, where her son serves as pastor. She remained a faithful and dedicated member for the rest of her life, always willing to serve wherever she was needed. Her unwavering faith, gentle heart, and commitment to God touched the lives of many. Above all, Louise cherished her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose love knew no bounds. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, leaving each of them with treasured memories and a lasting legacy of love, faith, kindness, and strength. Louise leaves to cherish her precious memory: her seven children,Timothy Myers, (Sharon Kennedy preceded her in death), Loretta Wilson, Timothy Williams Jr., Gwendolyn Walker, Cynthia Williams and Cathy Lemon. She also leaves two beloved sons-in-law, Kevin Wilson and Aundrey Lemon, Sr., and two daughters-in-law, Thelma Myers and Cynthia Williams. She is also lovingly remembered by eighteen grandchildren, forty-nine great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren; her beloved older sister, Cassie Thompson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory. Although Louise has departed this earthly life, the love she shared, the lives she touched, and the legacy of faith she leaves behind will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
