Louise Mary Brown

Louise Mary Brown, beloved daughter of John Pinder and Ruby Collins, was born on August 5, 1924 in Cambridge, MD. Angels came to bring her wings on January 2, 2016 after ninety-one years. "Weezy" or "Mary Jane" as she was affectionately called, received her education in the Baltimore Public School System. She graduated as a Dunbar Senior High School "Poet". Louise was employed for twenty years as a Dietician Aide for Good Samaritan Hospital where she retired. She was also one of the original residents of Belvedere Green Housing founded by Good Samaritan Hospital. With Victory, she received Jesus as her Lord and personal Savior and was a long standing member of St. Matthews Catholic Church. She was a recent visitor of Fulton Baptist Church where she enjoyed the teaching of Pastor Rivera and planned to join the church as soon as she was physically able. She was called home to be with the Lord before she was able to do so. You could always find "Weezy" on the go, whether it was a bus trip to Atlantic City, a luncheon with her sisters or buddies, or her frequent shopping trips to Walmart. She also made an effort to participate in every family gathering or celebration. Her favorite pastimes were playing Pokeno, Bingo and Monopoly. She was also known to make ceramic art that she would give away as gifts to her friends. Louise was all about her home town sports teams! She was lifelong fan of the Baltimore Orioles but "LOVED" the Baltimore Ravens-especially Joe Flacco. Louise was preceded in death by her husband of forty-three years, Charles Brown; her son, William Scott; and her daughter and son-in-law, Valerie and George Wilkes. She leaves to cherish her memory: two sons, Andre Johnson (Eunice) and Dwaine Johnson; three daughters, Bonita Johnson (Larry), Yvette Webb (Thomas) and Cassandra Johnson-Grant (Jessie III); one daughter-in-law, Selma Scott; two sisters, Anne Addison (Joseph) and Margaret Holland; her grandchildren, Earl (Kim), Karen, Kizzy (Robert), Brandy, Ebony, Juan, Jessie IV (Jeremy), Stephani, Robert, Jr., Jamar, Crystal, and Jessica; thirteen great-grandkids; and a host of other family and friends.
