Ms. Lisa Ramona White

Early Life LISA WHITE was born on June 10, 1955, in Baltimore, Maryland, to the late Lawrence and Thelma Ellis. On October 19, 2025, Lisa unexpectedly went home to be with her Lord and Savior. She was surrounded by her loving family at the time of her passing. Lisa accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. She truly loved God and was a devoted servant, steadfast in her daily devotions, prayer, and study of His Word. The ninth of ten children, Lisa was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Thelma Ellis; sisters Mary Thomas, Delores Hunter, and Elaine Ellis; and brothers Lawrence Ellis Jr. and David Ellis. Education and Career Lisa received her education through the Baltimore City Public School System. She went on to establish a long and successful career as a graphic designer, working in the field for more than forty years. A woman of many talents, Lisa began her professional journey in typesetting, which grew into her well known business, L’s Graphic Design. Her creative work was featured in Grace and Glory magazine, a reflection of her artistry and dedication. After retiring from graphic design, Lisa earned her esthetician’s license from the Baltimore School of Massage. Continuing her entrepreneurial pursuits, she founded L’s Essentials, a business specializing in all-natural skincare products. Family and Personal Life Lisa later married Anthony Knight, and from this union two wonderful children were born, Jason and Lynette Knight. She was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend who deeply loved her family and her newly-acquired family at Morning Star Baptist Church. Lisa was a gifted cook who took great joy in preparing meals and sharing them with family and friends. Her warm spirit and delightful sense of humor enriched every gathering. Lisa’s love for plants was extraordinary—she cared for more than 150 and of varying species, each lovingly given its own name. She nurtured her plants with the same devotion and tenderness as she did her family, tending to every one with heartfelt attention and care. Faith and Ministry An ordained minister and powerful prayer warrior, Lisa used her anointing to bless every ministry she joined. She was often found interceding for her family, friends, the congregation of Morning Star Baptist Church, and anyone in need. No matter the situation or struggle, Lisa always gave God the glory. Above all, Lisa was a beloved daughter of the King, and she departed this life doing what she loved most: PRAYING. Legacy and Loved Ones Lisa leaves to cherish her precious memory: her son, Jason Knight (Cassandra); her daughter, Lynette “MiMi” Knight; granddaughters, Kaylin and Alexis; grandsons, Jason, Brandon, and Avery; great granddaughter, Zena; and great grandsons, Brendel and Cayden. She is also lovingly remembered by her sister, Wanda Hosea (William); brother, Warren Ellis Sr. (Phyllis); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends. A Life Remembered Lisa’s life was a beautiful reflection of faith, love, and service. Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy of kindness, creativity, and devotion to God will continue to inspire all who knew and loved her.
