Lillian Rozena Parker

Lillian Rozena Bailey-Parker, also known as Rosie, was born April 20, 1957, to the late Joseph and Lucille Bailey in Baltimore, Maryland. Rosie was educated in the Baltimore City Public School system. She graduated from The Great Lake Clifton High school on June 5, 1975. Rose was a devoted volunteer at Harford Heights Elementary School. She was so devoted to Volunteering, many people thought she was a teacher. She worked at Hecht Company until they closed in 1989, she then worked for Stouffers Hotel for several years, and she retired as Cafeteria manager in Baltimore City Public Schools. Rosie accepted Christ as her savior at an early age and fellowshipped at the New metropolitan Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Sunbeams choir as a child, devout member of the Usher Board, The Ensemble Choir, The Sanctuary Choir and The Metro Divas. Rosie was “The Director of everything. She loved being with her family. She loved music, especially Phyllis Hyman and Luther Vandross. She loved to travel, was always on the go. In the 90’s and early 2000’s she never missed a Hampton Jazz Festival weekend. She supported everything and everyone. Rosie was loved by all; everyone she encountered she impacted and left a memorable impression. She was a true intercessor, standing in the gap for whoever needed it. Rosie met her husband, Theodore (Skip) Parker in 1975, have been inseparable and devoted to one another for almost 50 years. You would rarely see one of them without the other. Our Beloved Rosie was preceded in death by her parents Joseph, Sr. and Lucille Bailey, also her sister Maria Bailey. She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Theodore Parker, Sr. daughters, Tawanda Clark and Tia Parker; son, Theodore Parker, Jr.; 3 grandsons Dominick Tilghman, Antwan Burston and Darrius Tilghman. Sister Miriam White (Kenneth,Sr.) 4 brothers, Joseph Bailey, Jr. (Francine), Aaron Bailey, Sr (Leshawn), Samuel Bailey and Floyd Bailey. Brother-in-law, (Alwyn Douglas) Aaron Bailey Sr. Nieces; Shaneka Bailey, Ashley Bailey, Asia Bailey nephews, Aaron Bailey, Jr Kenneth White Jr, Jamal Bailey, Tavon Bailey Davon Bailey, Marus Bailey, Bryant Brown and Eric Hall. Great Nieces and Nephews, Sharmar, Kennard., Tony, Nasir Kayla and Kynnedi. A sister-Friend, Arnezia Mackey (Gary Sr., Gary Jr. and Montez and a host of family and friends.
