Lamont Gregory

Lamont Gregory son of Delores Gregory was born on June 20,1968 in Baltimore,MD.He received his wings and crossed over to eternal rest with his wife by his side on November 24,2017 after a lengthy battle with ALS(Lou Gehrigs's Disease). Lamont affectionately known as Poo grew up in the Turners Station and Hollander Ridge communities.At an early age he was accepted into the home of Johnnie and Phyllis James whom he referred to as "mom and dad ". The James family remained by his side supporting him and his family throughout his illness.He was educated in the public school system of Baltimore County,MD. He was employed at NPL until his illness prevented him from working. On April 24,2017 Lamont accepted Christ and united with Greater St. John Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor M.Jamal Foster. Poo grew into a loving kind-hearted gentleman who loved life,tennis shoes, and fitted hats.In 2008 he met the love of his life,Latisha Diggs and was united in holy matrimony on October 2,2009. This union of love was blessed with a daughter,La'leunna (Mook Momma) and 2 wonderful stepchildren,Rico and Dejanae. He adored his family more than anything. Poo was an amazing free spirited man loving and humble;even during his illness he kept a good spirited and a loving smile and often said" it's a physcial illness, my mind is not gone and just hang in there with me. He wanted to remain at home with his family and always looked forward to Sunday Funday his favorite pastime. Even though he is gone physically,he will always remain spiritually and Sunday Funday will always be in remembrance of him.As long as he was comfortable he just wanted his family around sharing good times and making memories. He loved to call on his sister-in-law (Ray Ray) and his aunt Tina for whatever he needed. Lamont leaves loving memories to forever cherish to his wife Latisha;3 children, La'Leunna,Dejanae,and Rico;his mother,Delores;1 sister Sherrita;1 sister in-law ,Araina;3 brothers -in-laws, Lamont,Derrick and Mike; his mother-in-law Pebbles, 1 niece,Destiny;2 nephews,Toot and Demari; a special aunt -in-law,Tina;Johnnie and Phyllis James and family; his best friend,Sean; 3 special friends , Spank,Larry and Danny; and a host of aunts ,cousins and friends.
