Kimya Lomax

Kimya Nicole Lomax, daughter of Ida McCullough Adams and Larry Lomax, was born January 22, 1977 in Baltimore,MD. She peacefully departed this life on January 9, 2021. Kimya fondly known as "Nee" lovingly embraced everyone she came into contact with. Her smile and good-natured demeanor illuminated the hearts of many. Nee admired being with family and always lived by the standard of "Family First". Whenever there was a function she proudly took the responsibility of making plates, making sure everyone had their favorite drink, and cleaning up. Nee loved visiting her Aunt Linda's house to get some pot roast and having those hot topic debates with Buffy, Lisa and Kendall. If she didn't agree with the majority she simply would say "Oh Ok", while shrugging her shoulders. She adored getting dressed in Ravens gear to watch the games with her mom and Aunt Val. Whenever the Ravens scored a touchdown it was time to take a Shot. She was her mother's "Best Girl" and conceived her one and only Kimiya a/k/a Doodle. Nee wanted the best for her daughter and did her best to achieve just that. Doodle is certainly going to miss the Dunkin Donuts and Chic-fila-A meals with her mom most mornings. Without a shadow of a doubt, the best man in her life was her father. Their relationship was very special and untouchable. As Nee would say "I'm Larry Lomax's daughter". Ne received her education in the Baltimore City Public School System where she graduated from Paul Laurence Dunbar Senior High School. We all know she was a Poet for life. She was a member of and Baptized at the New David Baptist Church. Nee gave 13 years of services to Johns Hopkins Hospital. Family members, classmates, co-workers and friends will all remember her for being easy going without a malicious bone in her body. As Nee embraced her life she definitely knew how to have a good time. She enjoyed partying wherever, whenever, and with whomever. She was even hold enough to go to a party by herself with confidence that she would see a familiar face. If the music was good you were sure to find her in the middle of the dance floor doing her two-step. To know Nee was to love Nee: Funny, Caring, Compassionate, Helpful, Warm-hearted, and Empathetic. She was the type to give you the shirt off her back exposing her own. What more can be said, Everyone loves Nee. Nee was proceeded in death by her grand-mothers, Lois McCullough, and Carol Lomax. She was the apple of both of their eyes. As a child they showered her with unconditional love and during their time of need Nee selflessly reciprocated what was sowed into her. She leaves to mourn her daughter, Kimiya Jackson, her mother, Ida McCullough Adams, step-father Andre Adams, father Larry Lomax Step-mother Crystal Lomax, two sisters, Nija and LaRhonda (Nifisa) 1 brother-in-law Charles (Nifis), five uncles, four aunts, one niece, two nephews, 2-great-nephews, two dear friends Tiffany and Kenya, 1 god son Bright and countless other relatives and friends.
