Kimmie Arlene Simpson

For death is but a passing phase of life; A change of dress, a disrobing; A birth into the unborn again; A starting where we stopped to rest; A crossroad of Eternity; A giving up of something, to possess all things. The end of the unreal, the beginning of the real. Kimmie A. Simpson was born on January 24, 1965 to the union of Helen & George Jones and Freddie Simpson and Margaret Ree Huntley in Monroe, North Carolina. She was educated in the Henrico Public School System. Kimmie knew who Christ was and accepted Him in her life. She was baptized and became a member of Hill Street Baptist Church in Louisville, KY where the Pastor is Rev. Gregory Smith. She was blessed with 6 children whom she loved very much. She would often speak of her children on a daily basis. She is remembered by her big and beautiful smile. Always the one to make you laugh and would help anyone out that she could. When she passed she was working for Packaging Service Company as a Machine Operator. She had been employed with the company for 2 1/2 years. Several co-workers spoke fondly of Kimmie. Kimmie A. Simpson departed this life on Octobe3r 31, 2017. She was preceded in death by her mother Helen Jones, father's George Jones and Freddie Simpson. Kimmie leaves to cherish her memory daughters, Danielle (Joe) Barnes, Dana, Almaz, Janae Gardner, Regina Mealy and son, Antonio Mealy; nine grandchildren, D'Ajah Gardner, Taylor & Da'Jon Barnes, A'mya Gardner, Ju'niyah Jenkins, Amora & Bryson Mealy, Anton & Anwan Mealy; four sisters, Melanie Spain, Fredricka Simpson, Monique Huntley and Tara Adams; one brother, Freddie Simpson; Mother Margaret Ree Huntley; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; close friends, Darlene Depriest and Deborah. Her loving memory will live on with her relatives and friends. God Took Her To HIs Loving Home God saw her getting tired; a cure was not to be. He wrapped her in His loving arms and whispered "Come with me." She suffered much in silence, her spirit did not bend. She faced her pain with courage, until the very end. She tried so hard to stay with us but her fight was not in vain, God took her to His loving home and freed her from the pain.
