Kimberly Williams

Kimberly Sharon Williams, daughter of John and Catherine Williams, inherited the Kingdom of Heaven on June 27, 2004 at 3:55 p.m. after a lengthy battle with Breast Cancer. Kimberly entered God’s Glorious Garden, while at home with her family.Kimberly was truly one God’s Leading Ladies that with stood the test of time. She can be compared to one of God’s key women as defined in the Bible, “The Infirm Woman “Mathew (9:20-22). Kimberly was a very ill young lady. Every part of her body was aching. Her pulse was weak. Her body, trembling, but she tried desperately to hide her pain. She was a woman whose illness had become so all-consuming that she preferred to be alone. Her medical problems were multiple and complex. With life’s blood flowing out of her, she was almost out of time. While death was stalking her, leering over her shoulder, it was the “if” that kept her alive. “If I may but touch the hem of His garment.” All she needed was relief from her terrible pain. She was not looking for approval from anyone but God. All she sought was a position on her knees to touch the hem of His garment. Kimberly’s love and faith in the Lord was incredible. “I have never asked God why this had to happen to me, and I still love him more than anything,” were her exact words to her family” And in response, to her continued faith, belief, and honor unto God, throughout her illness, His virtue came running down and delivered Kimberly.Kimberly was raised in a family with very strong faith and belief in God. Although she had accepted the Lord as her personal savior many years ago, on May 27, 2004 Kimberly committed her life to the Lord once again. Kimberly was a faithful member of Bishop TD Jakes TV Ministry and looked forward to Watching Bishop Jakes every Sunday and Thursday night preach the word of God.Kimberly was educated in the Baltimore City public school system. She was employed at Harbor Inn Convalescent Center for several years and later joined the staff of Baltimore County School System.Kimberly was her birth name, however to many of her relatives and friends, she was known as Tweetie Bird. On December 16, 1986 God blessed Kimberly with a son, Colby who she absolutely adored. She was a loving caring mother who focused her attention solely on the welfare of her child. She enjoyed spending quality time with her son and one of her highlights was attending Colby’s football games. Kimberly also enjoyed cooking, shopping, and spending time with her siblings and their families.God blessed Kimberly with a loving caring family. She leaves to delight in memories of her love: one loving son, Colby Williams; and one loving and caring adopted son, Aaron Lippman; her loving parents, John and Catherine Williams; her devoted sisters, Dana Williams; three brothers, Jonathan, Keith and Rodney Williams; three sister-in-laws, Cheryl, Channel and Alicia Williams; four nieces, Megan, Keyanna, Adrianne, and Jaia; five nephews, Ja-vaughn, Keith Jr., Rashad and Ryan; five aunts, Marie Jackson, Janice Williams, Shirley James, Rosa Price and Evelyn Price; four uncles, Thomas Price, Norman Williams, Matthew Williams and Elmer Jackson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
