Kim Johnson Richards

KIM JOHNSON RICHARDS was born in Baltimore, Maryland, on December 5, 1961, the baby of ten children born to the late Pierce Holley and Marie Mickey Johnson. On August 1, our beloved Kim entered into eternal peace and rest at the age of 61. She was raised in the Eastside, Johns Hopkins community in a village of love. She accepted the Lord Jesus at a young age. She attended Baltimore City Public Schools. She worked for many years for Giant Foods in the bakery. She loved her boys. When Jazmon was a teen, he loved hanging out with his mom; he just loved being around her. Jason and Jazz would ride around town with their mom, listening to some of the craziest songs. She met her loving husband, John Richards, and they got married in Baltimore. Then they moved to Texas and remarried again. They had been together for over 28 years. They resided in Texas for the past 12 years. Kim, being the baby as most babies in families are, got away with everything and let you know she was the baby. She adored her grandchildren. She was always stylish, a true fashionista. A brown-eyed beauty. She sold her fashions on Posh mark and did very well indeed. She was the life of the party and very charming. Kim was full of energy and unexpected drama that she could switch on and off instantaneously. You never knew what mood you would get; you just had to wait and see. Kim was loved; she was a special, unique person in so many ways. Kim lived her life her way. We wish we had more time together, and we will always value the time we did have. We love you, Kim, and thank you for blessing us with your presence. We have captured the memories of you forever. There are no goodbyes for us, till we meet again; you will always be in our hearts. For love itself lives on, and cherished memories never fade just because you are gone. Our love can never be more than just a thought apart, and we will always treasure our memories and will never forget. Her presence will be deeply missed by her husband, her sons, family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Among those who shared her life and preceded her in death were her father, Pierce Holley, and siblings Linda, Lawrence, Joanne, Alice, Gregory, Michael, and Glenndora. She leaves to cherish her memory: her dear, loving mother, Marie Johnson; devoted husband, John Richards; loving sons, Jazmon Johnson (Leticia), and Jason Johnson; stepson, Jonathan Richards (Arial); three grandchildren, Jaso’nique, Damiano, Ruby; sister, Leona Tucker; brother, Coleman Holley; brother-in-law, William Richards (Edna); aunt, Terry Brooks; best friend, Clarice Miller; nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends.
