Kim Lolita Bethea

Our beloved Kim Lolita Bethea (51) of Richmond,Virginia departed this life Sunday, August 7,2016. She was born January 14,1965. She was preceded in death by her devoted father,James Preston Epps,and leaves to cherish her memory a loving mother, Larcenia Epps,and two beautiful daughters,Kimesha and Keonna Bethea. She was matriculated through Richmond and Henrico public schools and graduated with honors from Highland Springs High School. Kim gave her life over to Christ at an early age at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Richmond,VA. Throughout the years she joined the Usher Board and the E.H. Bouey Memorial Choir. She was a member of the Women's and Mass Choir at Saint Paul baptist Church in Richmond,VA. She also found pleasure in bringing joy to others through dancing and cheering. She started cheering at Fairfield Middle School and continued encouraging her team until she was in Highland Springs High School. Kim enjoyed games so much,she nurtured and coached her daughters in cheering,as well as other young bright girls. Stopping Kim,was unlikelyt,since she was an awesome track star. Her love for family and friends encouraged her to teaching praise dance to the youth at church. Kim loving spirit was shared with her employees,at Amerisource Bergen for 10 years. Kim loved her parents and her four beautiful sisters,but she took most pride in raising her beautiful daughters. Kim would always say that,“her children are her world.” They shared so many memories from their random girls' trips to “ yawning contest” or just loving on each other while watching a movie. Kim's daughters were the center of her joy,along with GOD. Kim had the ability to light up a room once she stepped in it with her wonderful smile. She leaves to cherish her memories, her daughters Kimisha & Keonna,her mother Larcenia,four sisters,Rosalind,Zeta,Tracey Epps and Cheryl Poindexter(Haywood). A devoted brother,Clarence Wright( Pauline). Her loving and devoted aunt,Georgia Mae West and a host of nieces and nephews. Kim was loved by many cousins,aunts,uncles and friends. She held her best friends George Bethea and Kim Smith,Nicole Anderson and Tonya Furtado near and dear to her heart.
