Kiarria Mosceal Coles

Life Reflections On Thursday, October 26, 2023, Kiarria Mosceal Coles went home to be with the Lord. She was born in Richmond, Virginia on September 2, 1989, to Willie Avon Coles, Jr. and Vanessa Tee-Coles. She was a daddy’s girl and her mother’s only child. At the young age of 7 years old, she accepted Christ and joined Faith Landmarks Ministries (without the permission of her parents). Even as a child, she possessed an uncanny ability to encourage and uplift people. She was the catalyst that encouraged her parents to come back to Christ. In high school, Kiarria displayed her athleticism on the track team showcasing her “Diesel” strengths through the discus throw where she earned numerous accolades and awards. She earned her Associate’s Degree from J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College and worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She had a passion for making sure people looked and felt good and that passion led her towards completing her studies to become a licensed cosmetologist. Kiarria was outspoken, compassionate, and eager to help everyone. If you needed anything, she would find a way to get it for you. She loved baking, making desserts, shopping, and traveling, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and making memories with her daughter. She is preceded in death by her father, Willie Avon Coles, Jr., and uncle, Gerald Leander Knight. She is survived by and leaves to cherish her memory; one daughter, Meionie Brown; mother, Vanessa Tee-Coles; one brother, Darius L. Coles; four sisters, Davon M. Coles, Angela M. Coles, Akilah Fletcher-Coles, and Aaliyah M. Coles; three aunts, Glenda Derricott (Bob), and Nikol Whittington (Antonio); three uncles, Alvin “Al” Coles, Edward Tee (Mandy), and Phillip Tee; four nieces and nephews, Michael A. Coles, Muriel A. Coles, Kendall D. Coles, and Element Coles; cousins, Genesis Tee, Graciella Tee, Chaka King (Shawn), LeAndra Knight, Kevin Coles (Laura), Jamye Knight, Dee Moss, DeQuan Moss, Jamison Knight, and a host of relatives and friends.
