Kevin D. Bass

KEVIN DAVON BASS, was carried away by Angels to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 7, 2014. Kevin was a loving guy, a caring father, a brother and a wonderful friend to all. Kevin was born on November 24, 1984 in Baltimore, Maryland to Vivian M. Jones and Kevin H. Bass. God blessed him with two children Kyree Bass and Solomon Bass. Kevin graduated from Duval High School in – Lanham, MD in 2002. He enlisted into the United States Navy as an Operations Specialist he served his Country for 8½ years and received an Honorable Discharge. He worked in the field of Lost Prevention. While in the military, Kevin became a member of the Masonic Order. Kevin was a motivated person. He was a doting father. His children were his life. His children’s happiness gave him a reason to live. Kevin was the CEO& Founder of LOMD, LLC - Living Out My Dreams, a Youth Mentoring Program, that he was excited about starting. Kevin was not a member of any particular Church, but he knew God as his personal savior. He told his Aunt Kay after attending Children’s Day at Ark Church where his little cousins and god-children were singing, “Aunt Kay I like this church and I like what that Preacher had to say – I will be back.” Kevin leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Vivian Howard; father, Kevin H. Bass; sister, Kelly Biles; daughter, Kyree Bass; son, Solomon Bass (Sonya Bass), his second mother, Taksa Brown; and her children, Georvell, Georvicqa and Georyonnie Faith; devoted friends, William and Tiffany Venable, and his godfather, Ronald Venable. Let’s not forget his god-children: Harmony, Rayne, Rainya, Raya Ivoryward, Mariah, Drequan, Amelia, and Raven Venable. Several aunts and uncles, Auntie Kay and Auntie Venia; Aunts Gwendolyn, Sharon, Debra, Darlene, Cynthia, Laverne and Charise. Uncles Delmar, Dana Marvin, and Darnell. Great Uncles, Richard and Sandy, Sr.; Great Aunties Doris, Margie, Lessie and Liz. Great-Great Aunt Hattie and many, many more family members and friends….. Ok we just don’t have room to mention them all; however, we must mention his Brother/Cousins, Tavon, Mardy, Victor, Stanley, Maurice and Melvin. “COME TAKE YOUR REST MY GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT”
