On June 9, 2026, surrounded by the love of family and cherished memories, KAZERRIAN ANNETTE JONES-MCCLAIN peacefully transitioned from this life at the age of 74 in Baltimore, Maryland. Born on February 1, 1952, in Baltimore, Maryland, Kazerrian was a proud Baltimorean whose life was defined by love, faith, laughter, and an unwavering devotion to her family. She was the beloved daughter of Doris and James Thurston, both of whom preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Timothy “Mac” McClain, and her siblings Denise “Neicy,” Ivan, Gambrell, Anthony “Nookie,” and Michael. Kazerrian attended Douglass High School and later built a successful career at Johns Hopkins Hospital, where she worked as a medical biller and transcriptionist until her retirement. She took great pride in her work and was respected for her dedication, professionalism, and strong work ethic. Beyond her career, she generously volunteered her time at food drives, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. A woman of unwavering Christian faith, Kazerrian believed in leading with love. She possessed a genuine spirit, a kind heart, and a contagious sense of humor that could brighten any room. Whether she was sharing a joke, offering encouragement, or simply enjoying the company of those around her, she had a special gift for making people feel welcomed, valued, and loved. Kazerrian truly enjoyed life and believed in making the most of every moment. She was spontaneous, adventurous, and always ready for whatever the day might bring. She loved traveling, dining out, and spending time at her favorite places—the casinos. Hard Rock Casino and Maryland Live! were her happy places, where she created countless memories and enjoyed many laughs with family and friends. She was a devoted fan of Bruno Mars and 50 Cent, loved anything Disney, adored dogs, and found great humor in dining and dashing on her grandkids. More than anything else, Kazerrian treasured her family. Her greatest joy came from being surrounded by the people she loved most. She found happiness not only in creating memories but also in simply watching others laugh, smile, and enjoy themselves. She was one of those rare individuals who found fulfillment in seeing others happy. Her love was unconditional, her presence was comforting, and her impact on those around her was immeasurable.
