Judy Theresa Brown

Judy was born on January 21st, 1942, in Baltimore, Maryland. She had received her formal education from Baltimore City Public Schools at Paul Laurence Dunbar High School. After Graduating she continued her education at the Community College of Baltimore City. Judy met the Love of her life, Mr. William Brown better known as “Tootie” (Husband). whom she will join at the Kingdom. Judy retired from the Department of Social Service Administration as a Professional Social Worker. Judy Brown accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and has been a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church for countless years and was in attendance faithfully. She had excellent work ethics and habits. She was affiliated with the CHUM’s Community Association and the Parent/Teachers Association at Montebello Elementary School just to name a few. The Montebello Block Club and the Mayor, Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, honored Judy as “Parent of the Year–2014”. She seemed to have a direct line to Baltimore City Council member, Mary Pat Clark. Her interest was her commitment to her Church and would throw a good cook-out with no occasion, simply just to be surrounded by her family, gatherings, music, food, laughter, and good company. She was an entertainer (the hostess with the mostess) she enjoyed welcoming other friends of her children and grandchildren and would show them much love and compassion, treated and accepting them as her own. On Tuesday, May 3, 2016, Judy, an angel, was granted her wings and departed this life after a brief illness. Thank you Lord for keeping her in great spirit. Preceded her in death: Rose Williams (Mother); Claude Williams (Father); William Brown (Husband); Valerie Williams (Daughter); and Mark Williams (Son). God’s Angel leaves to cherish her memory survived by: her siblings, Denise Keys (Willie) (Sister) and James Williams (Brother); her children, Michael Williams (Michelle) and Gamel Brown (Sons); Gwen Williams, Kim Silva-McGuire, Patricia Dean and Nettie Brown (Daughters); her grandchildren, Justin Laguerre, Omari Lias, Keisha Wiggins (Keith), Shontai Jackson, Chanel Williams, Michael Williams II, Kendra McGuire, Brandy Purdue, Kiana McGuire, Shakilah Williams, Kazarrian McGuire, and Khamaya McGuire; 17 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews; one of many cousins, Vern Allen, who was more like a sister; her only aunt, Arilla McCoy and devoted family; best friends, Phyllis Rheubottom and Gwen Mayo and friends.
