Judson Eunice Grimes

Judson E.Grimes, Sr., was born on September 26, 1944, in Augusta, Georgia to the late Judson Eunice II and Elizabeth Eunice. Judson received his education through the Baltimore City Public School System. He later worked for Pepsi-Cola, where he remained until his retirement. During his young adult years, Judson met and married the love of his life, Barbara Ann Grimes, Together, they built life filled with love and family and were blessed with two sons, James Grimes and Judson Grimes, Jr, Judson was a man of few words, but his actions spoke volumes. Whenever someone was in need he would willingly give the shirt off his back. He was kind, giving, and charming, and there wasn't a lady he couldn't make smile. Judson was meticulous when it came to his appearance and personal style. He took great pride in looking his best, and whenever he stepped out, you count always count on him to be best dressed. Judson loved spending time with his sons, his extended family, and friends. He cherished the time he spent with his friend, Madelyn, who held a special place in his heart. Judson had a fun-loving side that brought joy to those around him. He enjoyed shooting pool and always happy to share his expertise, and teaching others how to play the game better. Family gatherings were never complete without his love of karaoke, and one of his favorite song was was "Dream Come True" by The Temptations. Judson lived his life in his own unique way. His quiet nature, generous heart, love for his family, competitive spirit, and ability to enjoy the simple moments made him truly special. On October8, 2008, Judson gave his life to Christ, beginning an important chapter in his spiritual journey and faith, On July 21, 2026, Judson Eunice Grimes peacefully departed this life, leaving behind a lifetime of cherished memories and a legacy of love that will continue to love on through his family and all who knew him. He was Preceded in death by His parents, Judson Eunice II and Elizabeth Eunice; his late wife Barbara Ann Grimes; and his grandson, Delvonta Grimes. He leaves to Cherish his memories His sons, James ( Theresa) and Judson, Jr. (Jennifer) daughter Shantel; his grandchildren, Colby, Delavisha, Alisha, James, Zion, Kayla, Donelle, Keenan and Kiyan; 15 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, his Friend, Madelyn, and extended family and friends. Judson will be remembered for his generosity, his quiet strength, his impeccable style, his competitive spirit, his love of family, and the joy he brought to those around him. His presence was a gift, his love was genuine, and the memories he create will remain in the hearts of his family and friends forever. May he rest peacefully in the arms of Christ, knowing that he was deeply loved and will never be forgot.
