Josephine Huff Williamson

Josephine Huff-Williamson (Sister), daughter of the late Ben Huff and Jannie Mae Huff, was born on April 24, 1950 in Lexington, Georgia. She departed this life on February 22, 2003 after a sudden death.She received her Primary Education in Georgia. She then received her high school education at Lake Clifton High School. She became employed by the State of Maryland Department of Social Security as a Custodian Worker for seven years. She then began working for the Baltimore City Public Schools System as a Custodian Worker for five years. She met two dearest friends while working at Baltimore City Public Schools, Harold and Bridgette. She resigned from work in January of 2002 to take care of her husband.Sister made lots of friends from the projects she lived in (Douglass Homes). She hung out with the Trusty family and most of all her “sho-nuff hanging party partners” was her homegirl, Anna Mae and her nephew, Terry Watkins whom she raised as a son. Sister always loved to listen and talk to everybody about their problems. She also gave good advice.Sister loved to gamble, play cards and go to Atlantic City. Sister’s birthday was everyday, if you asked her or if you didn’t ask her. She was going to let you know anyway. She has a dearest nephew who was willing to try to help when he could help her and that was Ghana Robinson, known as (Key). Sister and Danny were together for thirty-four years before they got married. They tied the knot on April 24, 1996 and out of this union six children were born. Sister was loved and cared for all over the world. Everyone who knew her will sincerely miss her. She was always a true friend and a devoted mother, wife and grandma.She leaves to mourn: her husband, Danny H. Williamson; six Queens, Serbian Mae Williamson, Myrtle Ann Williamson, Lena Williamson, Chanel Williamson-Muse, Danielle Michelle Williamson and Rhoshanda Williamson; sixteen grandchildren, Myles, Antonio, Sekia, Percy, Tavon, Dale, Eugene, Waynette, Anthony, Antwon, Ashley, Charles, Michelle, Mikca, Terrell and Chaz; three sisters, Maebelle Huff, Annie Ruth Wilson and Rebecca Huff-Cooper Rabey; three brothers, Harry B. Huff, Willie Huff, Clarence Huff (the late Lonnie C. Huff preceded her in death); five sisters-in-law, Eula Mae Huff, Lillian Huff, Barbara Carroll, Rose Williamson, and Cathy Williamson; three brothers-in-law, Glover Robinson, Marvin Williamson, Gregory Rabey and the late Clarence T. Cooper Sr.; six nieces, ten nephews (the late Clarence T. Cooper Jr. “Mobey” preceded her in death); twelve great-nephews, thirteen great nephews, five great-great nieces, six great-great nephews; five girls and one boy she raised like her own children, Marlene, Sherrie, Marion, Charlene, Uneka and Terry Lee Watkins and a host of other relatives and friends.
