John Lee Graves, III, affectionately known as “Lil John” to his family and “Pills” to his friends, was born to Lolita P. Richards and John Lee Graves, Jr. on September 1, 1980. John departed this life on May 7, 2007.John was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System. He was employed at Richards Contracting and Port of Baltimore – Local #333. John was baptized at New Rose of Sharon Church. John loved his family and friends dearly. He went above and beyond the call of duty for his family and friends. He was a very kind hearted and thoughtful young man. John was a loving and caring person who always helped others. John always had a joke to tell and a beautiful smile for all he came in touch with. John enjoyed traveling and spending quality time with his son and family.John leaves to cherish his beautiful memory: his loving mother, Lolita P. Richards; father, John Graves Jr.; stepfather, Balford Richards; son, Juwan Graves and mother, Tiara; sister, Lolisa; two grandfathers, William Perry Sr. and John Graves Sr.; two grandmothers, Amanda Graves and the late Sallie Perry; uncle, William Jr.; five aunts, Darlene, Deborah, Janice, Lynette and Vandora; six great-aunts, Mary Perry, Bernice Sanders, Esther Brown, Dola Brown, Luclise Brown and Lottie Mae Lightner; three great-uncles, J. P. Davis, Marion Brown and Israel Lightner; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends; including a special friend, Theresa.My BabyMy baby was always there for me.My baby was the one that shared laughs with me.My baby will always be in my heart And nothing will tear us apart.Me and my baby, would never fuss or fight, We always had good times every day and every night.This is why I will never forget him I will always love and care for him.His last words to me were I love you,And I said, I love you too.John I will never ever forget you.Your baby,TheresaTo my big brother, John Graves.
