Jean Frances Hedd

Jean F. Hedd, the last of six children, was born to the late Beatrice and Bernard Bailey on June 12, 1927 in Baltimore, Maryland. On February 11, 2014, Jean was called home on her eternal resting place. Jean received her education at St .Francis Academy in Baltimore, Maryland. She later embarked in the career of sales management at The Hoschild Kohn Company and Sears and Roebuck. After a lengthy term in management, Jean relocated to Washington ,DC and began working for the House of Fine Fabrics and the National Uniform Company. Jean's most prestigious position may have been her occupations as the manager of Randolph’s Concession at the White House, for which she received top security clearance to do so. During her spare time and after and after retiring from Randolph's Concessions,”Jeanie” as she was called by her daughter, loved to read ,sew and hop the next bus trip to Atlantic City. Jean was always ready to take part in recreational fun with family and friends. Music was also a great pastime for Jean as well, particular classical and opera. Luciano Pavarotti was her favorite . Jean had a humorous way of getting her point across; when she wanted to set someone straight she would pint her finger and say,”Wait a minute...let me tell you!” And whoever she was talking to had no choice but to listen. Jean has three children, one mourning daughter, Ina Green; and two sons, Albert Allen and Gregory Allen (both whom preceded her in death). She also leaves to cherish her memory: four grandchildren, Damon Green, Matthew M. Allen Gregory, Nia (Nikki) Green and Janeen Allen: four great-grandchildren, Andre Donald, Ayana Allen,Kai Allen and Amira; one great-great-grandchild, Logan McKenzie Donald or “fat fat” as she called ;host nieces,nephews, and friends. TO THE BEST MOTHER OF ALL... MY MOM If I had to pick one thing about you that makes you so special, I don't think it would be possible. I can't began to count the number of times you tolerated my moods, consoled my heartbreaks, endured my ups and downs, and just simply understood.
