Jasmine M. Llewellyn

Jasmine grew up in Old Town Alexandria where she attended the Greg-Joy Pre-School Academy and then on to the Immanuel Lutheran School. She later attended Mount Vernon High School and then Bowie High School in Maryland and volunteered with Nikki Petersons youth summer camp programs. Jasmine possessed a curiosity for this world that stretched far and wide. As an artist, she expressed those impressions through various formats (photography, sculpture, Painting, sketching and computer graphic arts). She had a keen interest in the physical sciences and was often asked if she was attending medical school. In the last 10 years, Jasmine became deeply involved with the Prologue Group in Baltimore as a volunteer. She lent her artistic talents to running arts therapy classes. When she passed her college level psychology classes, she began to provide emotional support to new clients. Jasmine is preceded in death by her paternal Grandparents, Gilbert and Jenny Llewellyn, maternal Grandparents, Donald Carlos and Frances Gibson, sister Keyawna Holiday, uncle Robert Llewellyn, aunts Deborah Llewellyn, Kim Washington and cousin Charlotte James. Jasmine is survived by her Mother, Adrienne (Carlos) Llewellyn, father Vincent Llewellyn, sisters Victoria Llewellyn & Kyla Sellers, as well as her step-mother, Viola Llewellyn, many lovings Aunts, Uncles and cousins as well as numerous other relatives. She is remembered fondly by close friends & colleagues. The family will welcome friends and relatives to pay their respects at a wake keeping at the March Life Tribute Center from 5:00p - 7:00 pm on January 19th, 2017. The next day, January 20th her memorial service will begin with a final viewing at 10am, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 am on January 20, 2017. The wake and the funeral service will both take place at the March Life Tribute Center.
