James A. Tinsley, Jr.

JAMES ARTHUR TINSLEY JR, son of James Arthur, Sr. and Doris Ann Tinsley was born on April 30, 1974 at the the Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed his life on January 1, 2017. He received his education from the Baltimore City Public School System. James was extremely intelligent. In fact, he received a mathematics scholarship from UMBC at very young age. Also during his young age (in the early 80s) James was baptized at the Nazarene Temple Apostolic Faith Church under the leadership of the late Bishop Richard W. Harris, Sr. In his late teens, James met the love of his life, Manya Tiffany Carter. Then on August 14, 1998, he and Manya become one flesh as a husband and wife for he knew that a man who finds a finds a wife, finds a good thing. Out of that union, they had four children; Tierra Washington, Raymond James, Brandon Tinsley and Naizavier Tinsley. Dump, as he was affectionately known to his family and friends, was a gifted entrepreneur. He was the owner, founder and CEO of the Boss Lady Hair and Nails. He also learned to flip houses which resulted in him owning various real estate investments in the Columbus, Ohio area. His business fortune allowed him to afford to buy a host of great vehicles including one of his favorite ...a Porsche. James leaves to mourn his loss and to cherished his loving memory and legacy to: his parents, Doris Ann Tinsley (of Baltimore) and James Arthur Tinsley, Sr. of Louisanna); his wife Nathale Tinsley (of Ohio); his four sons, Raymond James, Branden Tinsley, Naizavier Tinsley and Carlos Tinsley A.K.A.“J.J.” (all of Ohio); three daughters, Tierra daughters, Tierra Washington, Kaytlin and Mercedes; two Sisters, Keisha Tinsley, Doris Todd (both of Baltimore); two brothers, Darwin Brooks and the late Demone Jackson, who preceded him in death (both of Baltimore0) two nieces, Da'Kiarany Jackson A.K.A. “Bean” and Autumn Richardson (both of Baltimore) nephews Demetrius Bryant and Tyson Richardson (both of Baltimore one special loving grandmother, Mother Lovie Williams (of Baltimore) whom he always called 'Mom”; three aunts, Annie Ruth Lewis, Patricia Ann Carter and Evangelist Terri Williams (all of Baltimore) ; one aunt-in-law, Annette Williams (of Baltimore); two uncles Larry Williams and James Williams (both of Baltimore); two uncles -in-laws, James Carter and Earl Lewis (both of Baltimore) one special cousin, Calvin Williams A.K.A, “Booga”; two special friends, Lamont McNair and Aaron Harris (both of Baltimore) and a host of friends, cousins and other relatives.
