Jacqueline T. McCloud

I Jacqueline Teresa McCloud was born on December 21, 1963 at 10:30 am at City Hospital of Baltimore, Maryland to late Lloyd G. and Annie M. McCloud. I was the fourth child of five. I was affectionately known as Jackie. I received my wings on March 20, 2017 at the Sinai ICU after a lengthy illness. I attended Victory Elementary In Fairfield, went on to Benjamin Franklin Jr in Brooklyn and then onto Southern Senior High School where I left after the completion of the tenth grade, early in life I decided I did not need a high school diploma because I was already making money through my self-employment. I had no natural children but I was the mother to my three nephews especially Anthony Hurel Jr. (Mary was the surrogate), Edward Solomon Jr, and Ricky McCloud Jr, boy did I spoil them just thirteen years ago I became a mother again to my girl, my great niece Laila Hurel my heart that I could dress up and give her the best of best, then came my great nephews Da’maree Hurel and Shemar McCloud, you know I had a love for the children that shows through my godchildren Candace Green, Chavon Oliver, Shawntay McClamy, Cameron Evans, and Troy Smoot Jr, if your children did not come into one of my houses they missed out on a real treat, Ms. Jackie spoiled all the little ones. When I could not attend my home church First Emmanuel Baptist Church, I would tag along with my grandmother to this small church where Hop Hin now reside and I believe I held every position in the church because my grandmother would say my granddaughter will do it, I strayed but returned and was baptized on August 11, 2002 under the leadership of Reverend Kenneth P. Moore of the Mount Zion-Magothy United Methodist Church. My church family was wonderful to me I was bedridden and monthly they would come and do communion and sing the songs of Zion I was highlight of my month, and then Saturday morning prayer line. A self-made business owner I’ve been making money since Elementary school because I was creative and crafty I took the free lunches added lettuce and tomatoes and then sold them to the maintenance men, I throw card parties, stripper parties, I babysat, I was a Avon Rep, I had bake sale, a candy store, frozen cups, snowballs, I crotched blankets and sold, I planned and decorated all types of parties, but my biggest money maker was the clothes, dinners I sold, and my famous Easter Baskets thanks to Clem and Gina I had Social Security on lock down I knew their paydays better than my two sisters. I have great friends: Brenda Watts, Mamie Coits, Carolyn Parker (my godmother), Mary Hill-Carpenter, Shirley Coleman, Earlene Oliver, Grace and Kenneth Brooks, Byron Lewis, Cheryl and Arthur Wagoner (cousins) and Tonnette, so many others you know who you are. I was preceded in death by my father, grandmother Ada McDowell, nine uncles, three aunts, several cousins Left to cherish her memories are mother: Annie, brothers and sisters; Lloyd E. of Los Angeles, Ca, all others of Baltimore Regina (Edward) Solomon, Mary McCloud-Hunt, Ricky Sr, Nephews and Nieces Anthony (Vivian), Edward, Ricky (Taylor Stewart), Stephanie of Michigan, and Treyvaughn of Minnesota, Laila and Da’maree, Darius and Destiny Campbell, aunts Julia McLeod, Sarah (Richard) O’Neil of Philadelphia , special friend Anna Wancowicz, god children, godmother and a host of cousins , friends and church members.
