Jacqueline Davis

Jacqueline Stephanie Davis, (B.K.A. Jackie), daughter of Shirley Carroll and the late Samuel Carroll, Sr., was born on June 5, 1961 in Baltimore, Maryland. She suddenly departed this life on April 26, 2010.Jackie, who attended Venable High school in Baltimore, Maryland, continued her educational pursuit at the Watterson Skilled Center, where she graduated as a Geriatric Nursing Assistant. Later,m she became a licensed Day Care provider.From early one, Jackie wore many professional hats, including that of marriage counselor, billing consultant, event coordinator, and bail bondwoman. Jackie also served as a parent volunteer at Shemar School. In addition to her many professional activities, she always maintained open-door policy with all the kids in every neighborhood. In the early 80's, Sizes Unlimited Club was formed and Jackie was the Founder/President.She made numerous friends wherever she went, and she will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. She was always a true friend and devoted to family.Jackie was married to James Anthony Davis and out of this union one child, Anthony Davis, was born. Later, Jackie met Sherman Anderson and one child, Shemar Anderson, was born of that union.Jackie leaves behind two sons, Shemar Anderson and Anthony Davis; mother Shirley Carroll; grandmother Helen Robinson Venable; six sisters, Weltonia Engram Wright, Debora Venable, (sister/cousin) Pearl Corpew-(Konnie), (sister/cousin) Yvette Brown, Karen Butler, and Sherry Terrell; three brothers, Samuel Carroll, Jr., and Andre Venable (Jay); Mother-in-law Dora Davis; six grandchildren Tatyana Davis, Nehemiah Jackson, Iyana Davis, Anthony Davis, Jr., Shanaijah Hargrove, and Victory Hargrove; nine aunts, Barbara Venable, Phyllis Venable, Angelis Handy, Brenda Gonsalves, Denise Venable-Harrison, Mallory Venable, Maxine Venable, Wanda Venable, and Pearl Corprew; Seven uncles, William Venable (Woody), Elmer Carroll, Don Venable, Leroy Harrison, William Venable (Bill), Ray Venable, George Gonsalves, and Clifford Sawyer; Godmother Alveria Harris; Adopted daughters, Renee Hargrove, Kim Smith, Taisa Carter, and Shawany Williams; nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. Jackie's brother, Anthony Carroll (Peter), preceded her in death.Sleep well dear Jackie, sleep well.May the good Lord grant Jackie everlasting comfort and peace.
