Isabella Theresa Redhead

ISABELLA REDHEAD, also known as Theresa Bartholomew, was the second child of Hamilton Newton and Monica Bartholomew (both deceased). She was born on September 3, 1956. Her early childhood was spent in fishing village of Carenage situated in Twin Island Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. In the late 60s the family moved to the Diego Martin community where she resided until her migration to the United States of America around 1977 with her daughter Karen. Isabella’s formal education began at the Carenage Girls’ Government School and then Cocorite Government School. She later attended John Donaldson Technical Institute where she pursued a program in Food Preparation. She is very adept with her hands; very proficient in cooking, crocheting and sewing. After migrating to the USA, Isabella worked and various jobs to maintain her daughter and herself. Isabella found permanent employment with the City of Baltimore and Union Memorial Hospital. She returned to Trinidad in 1979 and married her sweetheart Robert Redhead, who soon after joined her in the United States and built their lives together. From this union three other children were born: Katie Bradford, Kendall Redhead (deceased), and Keon Redhead. The children gave her three grandchildren: Kiarra Anderson, Karmen Bradford, and Kayden Redhead. Additionally, she has been the mother figure to many more. Specifically, Sonya Thomas and Aneilia Miller-Jack, both of whom grew up in her household. Isabella also accommodated her two nephews Klint Knights and Kevin Ayers when they migrated to the USA. Isabella can be characterized as a very helpful, loving person in her own way and would go the extra mile to make her friends and co-workers happy. She cooked for parties and get-togethers and adjusted uniforms when needed. Isabella leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Robert Redhead; children, Karen Redhead, Katie Bradford, Kendall Redhead (deceased), and Keon Redhead; and her siblings, Jocelyn Alexander, Esther Knights, and Roy Bartholomew. She is the aunt of Dave Bartholomew, Kevin Ayers, Kimberly Daul, Klint Knights, and Krystle Elbers; great-aunt of Britney Holt, Dave Bartholomew Jr., Josephine and Jane Daul and Tyler Knights. She also leaves her best friends, Isabella Kerina and Colleen Darden.
