Holloman James Hyman

HOLLOMAN (JAMES) HYMAN was born on October 30, 1945 to the late Howard and Louise Hyman in Richmond, Virginia. He departed this life suddenly on October 7, 2014. Holloman was raised in a Baptist home and attended the Baptist church in his community at an early age. He received his education through the Baltimore City Public School System and held various jobs until he became disabled. Holloman was affectionately known to his family and friends as "Jimmy", "Shank" or "Jimbo". He married Yvonne Gray and from this union four children were born. Jimmy was a loving and devoted husband and father. He enjoyed spending time with his family and close friends. Jimmy had a passion for playing the guitar. He also loved observing the stars with his high powered telescope. Jimmy was greatly loved and admired by his family and friends, for his loyalty, support and willingness to assist anyone in need. Jimmy had a magnetic personality, making friends wherever he went. He had a full life and he enjoyed the time he spent on this earth. He took every opportunity to make sure his children and grandchildren knew just how much he loved them by checking in on them frequently, always remembering birthdays and attending every special event. Jimmy leaves to cherish wonderful memories: Yvonne Gray; son, James Hyman Jr.; daughters, Charlene Hyman-Smith, Sherrie Hyman and Deborah Aunstead; sons-in-law, Michael Smith Sr. and Tony Brown Sr.; twelve grandchildren, Michael Jr., James III, Montrell Sr., Jeremiah, Vonte', David Jr., Antione, An'tione', Henry III, De' Asia, Tonea' and Tony Jr.; three greatgrandchildren, Montrell Jr., Nikelle and Kaliyah; nephews, William Jr., Darian and Dirrell; niece, Danielle; and host of nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. Jimmy was preceded in death by: his father, Howard Sr.; mother, Louise; brothers, William Sr., Robert Sr. and Howard Jr..; sister, Virginia; niece, Deneen; and son in-law, Henry Jr. It seems we saw you one day, the next day you passed away; But we are so glad for the time we spent together, and we will cherish all the love, good times, and memories forever.
