Hattie Lee Hubbard

Saint Hattie Lee Pulley Hubbard was born in Dinwiddie County on December 16, 1940 to the late Brother Samuel Turner and Saint Ruth Davis. She received her education in Dewit Public Schools. Saint Hattie Hubbard departed this life on May 6, 2004. She was proceeded in death by her husband, Brother Raymond Hubbard, her mother, Saint Ruth Davis and her stepfather, Deacon George Davis, her son Brother James Hubbard, her daughter Sister Frances Hubbard, two brothers, Brother Eddie Turner Sr. and Brother John Turner.Saint Hattie Hubbard also known as “Sister Fannie” became concerned about her soul at an early age and joined The United House of Prayer for all People where she received the gift of the Holy Ghost as a teenager and served as a maid for Daddy Grace. Saint Hubbard also served as President of the Youth Department, and faithfully supported the Madison Ushers and the Madison Young Adult Ushers. Whenever, there was need for kitchen workers you could always count on the smiling face of Saint Hattie Hubbard doing whatever was needed. Saint Hubbard was a very caring and compassionate person. In her humbleness, before God she opened her heart and home to many people, offering refuge to many from the storms of life in the form of a big hug, a kiss, a meal, or just sitting and listening, she never refused anyone.Saint Hattie Hubbard leaves to cherish her loving memories: three daughters, Sister Marie Childress, Sister Juanita Moore and Sister Hattie Copeland; four sons, Brother Charles Pulley Jr., Brother Raymond Hubbard, brother Samuel Hubbard and Brother Michael Hubbard; two daughters-in-law, Sister Charlene Hubbard and Sister Deloris Hubbard; two sons-in-law, Deacon Jerry Brown and Brother Warren Copeland; four sisters, Saint Francine Brown, Sister Gloria Donaldson, Saint Missionary Carolyn Brown and Saint Hazel Jones; two brothers-in-law, Deacon Jerry Brown and Brother Warren Jones; two brothers, Brother George Davis Jr. and Brother Bobby Davis, all of Richmond, Virginia. Nineteen grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
