Harvey E. Nevels

Harvey Eugene Nevels, the son of the late Eugene Watson Sr. and Geraldine Richardson, Was born May 18, 1951, in Baltimore, Maryland; He departed this life suddenly on September 25, 2014. Harvey received his education in the Baltimore City public school system, and was employed with the Federal Reserve Bank, where he worded in the maintenance and and food service department for 22 years. He was a member of the Gospel Tabernacle Baptist Church, under the leadership of Bishop Reginald Kennedy. And later became a faithful member of the Davis' Family bible study under the leadership of Elder Loretta Fowler and Elder Ruth Brown. Harvey was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Phyllis Nevels, and there were no children in this union. Harvey had a special love for his mother, he cherished all of memories, often he talked about how much he had missed her, and how one day he would see her in heaven. Harvey always desired to have a family that included siblings. It was a divine intervention created by God to allow Harvey to live to see his siblings, who has embraced him with love upon seeing his face, and step up to the plate to serve him. Harvey would often talk about how his baby sister, Phyllis and brother, Andre, who would come to his rescue by taking care of him while he was sick, and being there when he needed them. Harvey will be missed for his well-known never ending adventurous conversations,, watching sports on television, and his love for his new found family. He had a big heart and was very generous and goal getter. Harvey was a servant to people, by helping those who are in need of transportation for medical visits, and to the grocery store. Harvey will be truly missed by all who loved him. Harvey leaves to cherish his memories; five sister: Phyllis Butler, Denise Nord, Sharon Watson, Carolyn Braggs, and Charlene Frazier; are eight brothers; Reginald Watson, Andre Watson, Keith Watson, Allen Watson, Garry Watson, Phillip Watson; preceded him in death, John White, and Eugene Phillip Watson Jr. There are five brother-in-laws: Derrick, Leslie, Hammet, Roger, and Mark. Four sister-in-laws; Sue, Jeanna, Rosalind and Kaitlyn two special godmothers; Ms. Betty Anderson and Ms. Sandra Hunter; Three favorite cousin; Beverly Tripline, Tonja Evans, and Carolyn (peaches) Patterson. And Host of Nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles, and cousin.
