Harold Johnson

Harold Johnson, son of Stanley and the late Janet Johnson, was born May 13, 1965 in Baltimore, MD. Harold was born and raised in Cherry Hill and educated in the neighborhood schools as well as a graduate of Southern High School in 1983. In his earlier years, he was a faithful member of St. Veronica’s Roman Catholic Church. He married Andrea Johnson and they were blessed with a loving daughter, Brittany Johnson. Harold was employed at Ansam Metal for 20 years as an Equipment Operator. If you knew him he was a lover of sports. From baseball to football to his number one passion basketball. Competition in his heart, he always talked trash on the basketball courts. When not on the basketball court, he would be seen riding the streets on a dirt bike or scooter with Alford and Michael Robinson. Harold’s interests included playing checkers, playing cards, crabbing, fishing and most of all his love of music. Harold could recite the artist and name of any song especially old school rap. With his famous two-step and hilarious sense of humor, he was the life of every party. Over 15 years ago, Harold was diagnosed with Polymyositis, a disease of the muscle. The disease progressed, and after a lengthy battle God called him home. He was preceded in death by his moving Janet Johnson and nephew Michael Johnson. He leaves to cherish his precious memories: his daughter Brittany Johnson; father Stanly Johnson Sr.; brothers Larry Rock and Stanly Johnson Jr. “Squeaky”; sister Jacqueline Johnson; Uncles Arthur Allen Jr. “Jap” and David (Carolyn) Allen; aunts Antoinette (James) Bailey and Min. Azilee Hines; nephews Craig Johnson and Mekhi Johnson; a very special nephew Marcus Johnson; nieces Cheritta Johnson and Ania Johnson; three very special nieces LaTonya Price “Reds”, Monica Johnson and Cammron Johnson “Cammy”; with an extra special place in his heart for his great nephews Brandon Johnson Jr. , Blair Scott Jr. and great niece Jazalyn Bryant; Childhood friends Aflord and Michael Robinson; Daryl Fletcher; close co-worker Kevin; and a host of family and friends
