Frank Thomas Hubbard

Our Beloved Frank Thomas Hubbard Sr. Was born April 21,1948, in Richmond, VA to Frank and Sarah Woodson Hubbard. Frank was preceded in death by his loving son Melvin Hubbard and brother Calvin “Jimmy” Hubbard. Frank was called into eternal rest by Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and received his heavenly crown on Tuesday, December 17, 2024. Our Beloved Frank was educated in Richmond City Public Schools, and he graduated from Armstrong High School in 1968. Upon completion of high school, Frank joined the United States Air Force that same year. While in the military, Frank completed tours in Indonesia, Vietnam, and Korea. In 1972, as Airman 1st class, Frank returned home to join the workforce. Frank became employed with Altria, formerly named Philip Morris, Inc. Frank retired from Altria after 25 years of service. Our Beloved Frank accepted Christ at an early age. During his marriage to his loving wife Wilma Dale, he often attended worship service at her home church of Good Shephard Baptist Church, located in Richmond, Va. Frank recently became a member of Good Shepard. Frank’s faith and religious background were deeply rooted in the values of honesty, perseverance, and the importance of keeping a spiritual focus. Our Beloved Frank was a true fisherman at heart. He loved to go saltwater fishing every opportunity that he could. He and his wife were members of the Staves Travel Group that traveled to multiple states. Their most memorable vacation was to Michigan to visit Motown. Frank also loved sports, especially his beloved Pittsburg Steelers. Truthfully, Frank could have been employed as a sportscaster due to his vast knowledge of multiple sports. While at home, Frank could be found engrossed in one of his favorite shows. The National Geographic, tinkering with different gadgets, and listening to old school music. Frank enjoyed life! Our Beloved Frank, leaves to cherish his loving memory, loving and devoted wife, Mrs. Wilma Dale Hubbard; three children, Frank T Hubbard, Jr. (Melissa), Shereka Steele (Dwone), and Dominic Spencer, Sr; stepson William Spencer (Renada); stepdaughter LaKiyah Spencer (Travis); grandchildren, Frank T Hubbard, III, Dominic Spencer, Jr., Simone Steele, Kameron Spencer, Sharda Spencer, Kayla Spencer, William Spencer, Jr, Savion Spencer; great-grandchildren Nation Hubbard, Ka’Nari Walz, and A’Layna Spencer; siblings Alice Winston (Phelix), Ruth Rasberry, Patricia Hubbard, and Melivn Hubbard; brother-in-law, Michael Wilkins (Laverne); aunts Jean Woodson and Sandra Wilkins; uncle Nello Wilkins; a host of nieces and nephews; devoted friends, Wade “Gus” Brown and Lapolen “Ricky” McCutchen.
