Frank Eubank Sr.

On the evening of March 23, 2014, God called home FRANK EUBANKS SR. at the age of 78. Our beloved Frank was born in Lunenburg County, Virginia. He was one of eight children born to the late Ervin Eubanks and Estella Neal Eubanks. At an early age, he was baptized and became a member of the New Rehoboth Baptist Church in Keysville, Virginia, where he attended Sunday School. He also attended elementary and high school in Virginia before moving to Baltimore in the mid-1950's. Upon arrival in Baltimore Frank worked various jobs in construction, before becoming a longshoreman at the Dundalk Marine Terminal, where he stayed for many years until his retirement. In 1963, Frank married Janie Reed and to this union was born five children, Christy, Lorraine. Ronnie, Bernard and Frank Jr. He later divorced Janie and married Elmira Hall and with her reared three children Loretta, LaDawn and Anthony. (Loretta stated that he was the best stepfather anyone could want). In addition to his children and stepchildren, he also adopted another son Michael, who stuck by him to the very end. Of all of his children and stepchildren, LaDawn was his earthly angel. She was always there for him whenever needed assisting him even throughout his illness. Frank was an easy-going, fun-loving guy. He loved sports especially baseball and football, his favorites the Baltimore Orioles and the Baltimore Ravens. He like working on cars and tending his garden. Frank had a unique way of making everyone he met just adore him. Frank leaves to cherish fond memories: his two daughters, Christy and Lorraine Eubanks; son, Frank Eubanks Jr.; three stepchildren, Loretta Pugh (George), LaDawn Lippman (Harvey), Anthony Hall and his adopted son, Michael Mclver (Shanna). He also leaves: his brother, Charlie Eubanks (Mildred); two sisters, Estella Jennings (Franklin) and Christine Berkley (Wilbur); sister-in-law, Evelyn Wooley; brother-in-law, Peter Daniels; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and a long list of friends. His first wife and two of his sons preceded him in death. Frank, we thank our Heavenly Father for the years He let us spend with you. Now that He has called you home, may you forever rest in the arms of Jesus our Savior.
