Frances Beauford

Frances Louise Beauford, daughter of Verna Marie Clinton and the late William Henry Redditt, was born November 4, 1946 in Baltimore, Maryland. She departed this life to be with our Lord and Savior on Saturday, September 1, 2007.Frances was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System and graduated from Douglass Senior High School. After graduation it was her desire to be a teacher. However, she met and married Leroy Beauford from Alvin, South Carolina. From this union came two children, Aaron and Shelly. She also has two stepsons, Efern Kinlaw and Perry Shaw.Frances accepted the Lord as her Savior at the early age of 12 and was baptized at Sweet Hope Baptist Church in Baltimore, Maryland. She enjoyed singing God’s praise and studying his word. Frances graduated from Baltimore School of the Bible with certificate of completion in Childhood Evangelism. Frances was a dedicated member of the Southern Baptist Church. Throughout her membership she served in several different auxiliaries including Christian Education Department (Sunday School Teacher, Vacation Bible School Teacher), Choir member (Jubilee Chorus, Men and Women’s Club/Committee). She was also a member of the National Baptist Congress Convention and a member of The Eastern Star Electa Chapter #OES.She leaves to mourn; her husband of 42 years, Leroy, her mother, Verna Clinton; one daughter, Shelly Harris; one son, Aaron Beauford; two stepsons, Efern Kinlaw and Perry Shaw; one son-in-law, Glenn Harris, two daughters-in-law, Anita Beauford and Frieda Shaw, six sisters, Verna Bryan, Geraldine Greer, Marion Ingram, Linda Butler, Janet Scott and Ernestine Wilkins; one brother, Thomas Clinton; four adopted sisters, Mary Doris Clay, Shirley Hayes, Carlinda Wilson, Robin Day; two adopted brothers, Dominic Wilson and Charles Wilson, ten brothers-in-law, Wesley Greer Sr. William Ingram, James Butler, Joseph Wilkins, Roy Bryan, Michael Beauford Jr., Donnie Beauford, Benjamin Beauford, Stanley Hayes and Jethro Beauford; six sisters-in-law, Rita Clinton, Sherry Wilson, Brenda Beauford, Deborah Beauford, Iva Beauford, Loretta Foreman; seven grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
