Felicia Ann Wright

I am not ready to leave. Just let me stay with my daughters so I can see my grandchildren grow up. This was the desire of Felicia Wright. On Tuesday morning at 5 a.m., September 19, 2023, Our Heavenly Father called His child home. Felicia Ann entered the lives of Mary Lou Gilbert and Henry Wilson Arnold on July 27, 1957 in Raleigh, North Carolina. Her early education was done in Raleigh where she graduated from Erwin High School in 1975. Felicia later relocated to Baltimore, MD. She met a young man, Robert E. Wright, Jr. (Bobby). They were married and had three daughters. As a mother Felicia loved her children and their friends. Her home was always open for the friends of her daughters. Many of the teenagers spent hours sharing with her. Felicia loved using her talents as a cosmetologist. Later her employment for many years was with the Rogers Avenue Day Care. Her love for working with children was quite evident. Felicia loved The Lord Jesus Christ and rededicated her life with a commitment to serve Him. She was a part of the Community Life Worship Center under her late uncle, Bishop Johnny Coates. She later became a member of The Tab (formerly Greater Bethlehem Temple Church). Here she served faithfully as a Missionary, Hostess, Choir Member, and Encourager. When you called her residence, she was always ready to share God’s Word with you. Each day began with her devotions. Even in the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital, Felicia had her devotional period each morning. Her hospital room was a place of prayer and studying God’s Word. The medical staff witnessed her faith each day. Truly missed by Felicia’s absence will be her daughters, Tanika Aldridge (Randolph 5th), Keisha Wright, Shenira Wright; grandchildren, Ronald Wright, Randolph Aldridge, Malcolm McCraw Jr., Treyonna Sydnor, Kobe McCraw, Kamori Sydnor; step-grandson, Tristan, Mother, Mary Lou Gilbert; sisters, Tammy Arnold Johnson (Antonio), Jennifer Arnold; brothers, Terry Arnold, Timothy Peterson (Kendra); uncles, Carson Gilbert, Michael Howie Sr. (Anne), James Howie; aunts, Odessa Coates, Alba Howie; and a host of other relatives and friends.
