Felicia Sharvon Harris Brown

Felicia Sharvon Harris Brown was born on March 22, 1971, in Richmond, Virginia, to Thomas L. Hayes and Edna Harris. From an early age, Felicia carried a warm spirit, a strong sense of self, and a deep love for her family. Felicia received her formal education through the Richmond Public School System and proudly graduated from John F. Kennedy High School. She believed in God and held her spiritual foundation close, allowing her faith to guide her throughout her life. On June 4, 2022, Felicia was united in holy matrimony with the love of her life, Charles L. Brown, in Richmond, Virginia. Their union was one filled with joy, mutual devotion, and unwavering companionship. Felicia dedicated more than six years of service to Brookdale Senior Living as a medication technician. She previously worked in the same role at Spring Arbor Assisted Living Facility. Her work was more than a job—it was a calling. Felicia truly loved the residents she cared for and was committed to providing them with compassion, dignity, and attentiveness. She was admired for her dedication and her ability to make others feel valued and supported. In her leisure, Felicia enjoyed listening to music, getting together with family and friends, and watching her favorite television show, Law and Order. She was an amazing woman—bold, honest, resilient, and loyal. Felicia said what she meant and meant what she said. She loved her family deeply and worked tirelessly to make sure they had everything they needed. Her presence was a gift, and her generosity was a blessing. Felicia leaves to cherish her memory her caring husband, Charles L. Brown; father, Thomas L. Hayes; loving daughter, Alexis Harris; beloved grandchildren, LeAysha Harris, Marcus James Jr., and Micah Hicks; goddaughter, Derricka Hicks; devoted sister/friend, Nona Cunningham; niece, Jayla Cunningham; aunts, Mary Thompson and Elnora Davis; uncle, James Hayes; stepsister, Sherita Kelly; stepmother, Mary Hayes; stepdaughter, Vannise Cuffee; mother-in-law, Brenda Pickett; and a host of loving relatives and friends. Felicia’s strength, kindness, and love will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her. Her legacy is one of compassion, loyalty, and unwavering devotion to those she cherished.
